It is becoming less and less of a mystery to those who have awakened and those who have had ET contact that the two phenomenon are often intertwined. In the work that I am conducting on early Christianity, we now have documents written by Gnostic seers who described a nonhuman (perhaps extraterrestrial) presence that is discernible once a person assumes or attains a more enlightened or awakened state. The writing which was produced close to two thousand years ago, is found in two notable books within the Nag Hammadi Library: The Apocalypse of James and the Hypostasis of the Archons. Between these two books, the “Archons” as they are called, are described in terms that fit the modern ET presence perfectly. It isn’t a vague similarity, though, but a long check-box affair where very specific qualities are noted. I will list some of these a little later, because I want to get to the core of what this post is about. Many contactees, which are people who say they have had contact with nonhuman intelligences over years, are told by their visitors, how important it is to develop their psi abilities. This would, they often assert, help humans to better understand themselves, as well as the nature of reality and the world around us.

The single most moving experience I think that an awakened person can have is the initial realization of how everything is connected, how everything is one. When that happens, when you feel that unity with all things, you naturally want to take care of that unity, or those things that you feel connected to. What better way to save the planet than to have people waking up and naturally wanting to take care of the planet because they feel it as an extension of themselves? Instantly ego gets put on the back burner, we become much more collaborative in our approaches, and we seek ways to help this second part of ourselves, which we call our Mother, the Earth. Such an outlook and awareness would have a profound effect on human culture and how we do business here. How do you do violence to another when you know that other is a part of you?

Awakening, notably kundalini awakening, has shown me that we are like radios, biological entities that produce a low-potential electrical current that shows every sign of being able to act as a transmission medium for more than just signals to the brain in order to operate the body and keep it running. I observe that this energy, most likely the portion expressed as a field (not the particle end of the signal material), is what is connecting us to the cosmos. It connects us, potentially, with each other. I have reached a point in my own experience where I have seen that the ability is real, we just need to learn how to utilize the facility. If I say that your biases and beliefs play into this, you might be able to appreciate that something as seemingly nonmaterial as consciousness could order very real energetic material that appears to be coming into your body and mind. Yes, we can be transceivers, but there is a part of us, our consciousness, which can distort the signal. Knowing how to clear the decks of competing material that might not serve getting clear information is key. I have also made a study of observing highly psychic people over the years (I attract them it seems, which is a good thing). One of the most gifted psychic I know describes her gifts as being the result (watch for it…) of having no filters. This is, for her, a bit of a double-edged sword. She doesn’t seem able to filter out the bad stuff. Instead, it all comes flowing through. For her, I suspect, she has to constantly be working on ways to remain neutral in her work so that she does not become overly saturated with the hard things. If you are reading this and have experience in this area, you too might find yourself in familiar territory. If you do, I encourage you to add your two cents worth in the comments because so much of this is about stretching beyond the known to make sense of what appears to many to be a mystery or an unknown. It is my observation that by using our inner senses correctly, we can acquire information that might take years to get at through the usual channels.

There is a passage in a book written by John Leir who has become noted for his work in removing implants from people who, in some cases, have a history of known ET contact. The book is entitled UFO Crash In Brazil, published in 2005 by Book Tree and available at Amazon HERE. According to numerous eyewitnesses, an unidentified flying object crashed near Varginha, Brazil on January 20, 1996 and at least two beings were reported to have survived. One was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was operated on while the military stood guard. It is here that the most interesting part of the story unfolds. I will point out for the reader that if you go to Wikipedia or any other mainstream source, you will find an effort to delegitimize the events surrounding the case (“there is nothing here!”) and there appears to have been an effort on the media more widely to do little to no reporting on the incident. That said, Dr. Leir interviewed one of the doctors who worked on the ET who was brought in by military personnel. It is interesting to see what the ET did and what it said to the doctor. I can say that for me, the one interesting part of the entire book are a couple of pages where the Doctor discusses his interaction with the ET in the operating room of a hospital in Varginha (pronounced Var-Hinga).

First, the ET took over the motor control of the Doctor and guided his hands so that he was able to help correct what was a broken bone in the ET’s leg. The ET then communicated with the Doctor telepathically. The Doctor claims that he was told a number of things by the ET which he refused to disclose, but one of the things he said that he would was that the ET felt sorry for humans because they didn’t know themselves very well, they didn’t know that they could do what the ET’s could, in terms of psychic abilities. The being also explained that humans were not very spiritual, and were thus not aware of who they were in a larger context. Other contactees have also expressed the same sorts of sentiments, being told by their ET contacts that they need to develop their inner senses more, that this will help to bring about a needed change on the planet. Currently, we are being seen as Planet of the Apes on the part of most ET’s. When we hear skeptics of all things ET say “I’ll believe it when they land on the White House Lawn” they are entirely missing the point. No ET in their right mind would ever bother to land on the White House lawn since they would be shot within minutes by a lone sniper, or taken into custody by Homeland Security and used as research subjects ad nauseum by our own government.

For the record, ET ships did cross through some of the most protected airspace in the United States in July of 1952 an event which was known as the “Carousel Lights” which those in the Pentagon made pains to point out, were not a part of their own secret program. Later on, however, officials would tend towards an official denial of sightings being anything more than weather effects or, as was made into a character meme: swamp gas. The following video covers this incident in some detail.

The policy that our government and the Pentagon has followed where U.F.O.’s in the U.S. are concerned has been one of denial and denigration. Colonel Corso, in his book The Day After Roswell in which he breaks his silence in his role involving the disseminating of technology gleaned from crashed discs from the late 1940’s through to the 1950’s explains in his work that the military and the government at that time did not want Russia to know that it did not have full command of its airspace. The second concern was catalyzed by the recent memory of what had happened when War Of The Worlds Aired as an April Fools joke, resulting in widespread panic nationwide. Corso explained that the military was well aware what disclosures might involve, and part of it could have been wide spread panic. This policy warned people off from becoming too interested, he said, by engaging in an effort to smear or denigrate people who showed too much interest in the phenomenon, or who claimed to have been abducted by ET’s. Americans have lived under this type of programming for an entire generation, so when the subject of ET’s comes up there are often snickers and sneers that come as a result. All is according to plan. Currently, that plan is changing because now the military industrial complex have found a new use for the ET presence, which could become a way to fatten more the budgets of the military by painting the ET’s as a threat.

In May 2010, aerospace engineer Tom Keller wrote an article for the Mutual UFO Network’s journal that said Ben Rich revealed that extraterrestrial UFO visitors are real and that the U.S. military has aircraft capable of travel to the stars. Keller, who worked as a computer systems analyst for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, quoted Rich as saying the following:

“Inside the Skunk Works, we were a small, intensively cohesive group consisting of about fifty veteran engineers and designers, and a hundred or so expert machinists and shop workers. Our forte was building technologically advanced airplanes of small number and of high class for highly secret missions.”

“We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects, and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity. Anything you can imagine, we already know how to do it.”

“We now have technology to take ET home. No it won’t take someone’s lifetime to do it. There is an error in the equations. We know what it is. We now have the capability to travel to the stars. First, you have to understand that we will not get to the stars using chemical propulsion. Second, we have to devise a new propulsion technology. What we have to do is find out where Einstein went wrong.”

“When Rich was asked how UFO propulsion worked, he said, ‘Let me ask you. How does ESP work?’ The questioner responded with ‘All points in time and space are connected?’ Rich then said, ‘That’s how it works!’ ”

Our past with the visitors goes back into antiquity. Zacharia Sitchen, who notably revealed how passages in the Assyrian Enuma Elish read more as an effort by ET’s (called the Anunnaki) to engineer humans. In one section it was described how these “gods” tried nine times to get a workable human and failed. The worst outcome took place when the leader told his technicians to take his own material from his arm (DNA Sitchen insisted) only to find that the resulted ended in even worse failure. It begs the question: does this sound like what a god could do?

In the book The Apocalypse of James which was part of the Nag Hammadi texts uncovered in 1945, beings called Archons are discussed between Jesus and James. Jesus is teaching James how to ward off their attacks. He explains that the Archons come in threes when we are asleep or in an unguarded state and once there, take souls by theft.

In the Hypostasis of the Archons, another NHL document these beings are desribed as having a countenance of a lion, the apearance of an aborted fetus, who take souls by theft and who create a form of synthetic reality the seers call HAL. This makes it possible to make these beings appear great when these seers explain that they are not. They are beings who can cause a person to freeze on the spot (with fear) afterwhich three Archons take the person away. Additionally, Archons are always trying to interbreed with humans. All of these details read precisely as an ET encounter, but are being described around (as early as) the first century A.D. In abductions there are almost always three alien greys. They “paralyze” a person before taking them aboard a ship.

The assertion being made by these first century seers is that this race of being is unable to reproduce on their own. Abductees describe how ET’s have taken genetic material from humans in order to create hybrids. In other accounts there are descriptions of how humans were being used to provide a “spark” of conscious life in what were ET bodies grown in tanks, with the theory being that these grey ET’s had somehow lost the ability to reproduce and may be using humans as a way to keep from going extinct.

For as incredible as all of this may sound, ordinary people from all walks of life have reported seeing and experiencing these same scenarios. I have corresponded at length with a contactee who described this “tube” concept years before this imprinting process was disclosed in the ET literature. It is possible that we are seeing a technology far advanced of our own, and it is also possible that ET’s have been with us for a very long time. Many of these stories sound incredible and were missundertood in their day and were likely dismissed. Clearly, our ancestors saw these beings as antagonistic. But are they? Is part of what they are doing simply not well understood by humans who have no conception of the technology of the ET’s and thus appear fantastic or quasi god-like?

I and others in the contact community feel that developing our psi ability may be an important prerequisite to contact. Not just any psi, but psi ability tied or alloyed with spiritual development. We are facing what will in fifty years be seen as a sudden technokogical leap forward. In order to remain balanced during this time, we will need a good spiritual mooring. When humans (or any species or being) advance too quickly, it is possible that we can wind up destroying ourselves, our environment, or both. It is interesting to note that many contactees show familiarity with the elements of enlightenment. In the CE-5 protocol created by Steven Greer, meditation and mindfulness for part of a critical core of human initiated contact.

Now, in the last few years, we have been witness to our military doing an abrupt about-face to begin to disclose what it knows about the ET presence. Excuse me for being just a little skeptical after sixty years of denial of the ET presence by the same agencies who now seem keen to change their tune. If you want to see how belief is created in a populace, study the history of UFO’s in the U.S. As time goes by we have learned, for example, that Project Blue Book, which was dubbed an honest effort to get to the bottom of the U.F.O. question, is now known, through disclosures by whistleblowers, to have been a straight up effort at propagandizing the public in order to create the impression that the U.F.O. phenomenon is largely (although not totally) a nothing burger. Thus, you are crazy if you believe that U.F.O.’s represent a nonhuman intelligence (NHI) visiting Earth. Currently, though, the management of this belief is being massaged and changed, and millions, perhaps billions of people will fall in lock step with what the government says is what is true, which may include casting the ET presence as a threat that requires weaponizing space at great expense. The interesting wrinkle in all of this is that many, perhaps close to all craft that are being filmed and leaked to the press, could well be our own technology which we gleaned from crashed discs.

According to Carol Rosin, who was assistant to Werner Von Braun in the final years of his life, he warned her that the military had created conflicts in order to justify fat military budgets. He laid out the 50-year plan, which in 1972, included “rogue nations” and terrorism, meteor threats, and then a threat from ET’s invading or seeking to take control of Earth. As crazy as his story seemed to her, Carol chose to come forward as part of the Disclosure Project spearheaded by Steven Greer who had the event recorded for posterity in the late 1990’s. The upshot of Von Braun’s warning was that even the Cold War had been created to justify vast spending on a sector of our economy that we were warned about by Eisenhower in his farewell speech.

With ET craft known to disable our missiles in their silos, the message has been clear: “You have a problem. Your problem is also our problem. You need to disarm now before you hurt your delicate environment, which is also our environment.” As I write this, the Biden Administration is pushing the West closer to atomic war over an issue that could have been resolved swiftly by pledging a neutral Ukraine. Instead, we have gotten a barrage of propaganda, and the sad part is that the journalists doing the good work are those not working for the major networks. Yes, Russia invaded, yes it is bad, but the West has also helped to stage a coup in Maidan in 2014 in Ukraine which helped to set the stage of ratcheted up tensions with Russia. The West had promised Russia that NATO would not encroach a “single inch” toward Russia, and that promise was kept until each president after Regan and Bush came into office. We need to get past all of this if we are to hope to move on to the next level. We simply have to just say no to the machinery of pain and strife and to always work for peace harder than we work for war. Making war unprofitable would be a good first step to having the warmongers shriveling on the vine. Not long ago I wrote a blog entry in which I made the case for the importance for us to develop our inner senses (psi) as a prerequisite for going out into the stars. Those abilities would provide crews with the ability to anticipate problems before they became catastrophic as well as being able to navigate unknown regions and less than known conditions in parts of our galaxy for instance. Not long after having considered this, up popped a quote from Jane Roberts’s Seth saying the same exact thing, which was an interesting coincidence, shall we say. But one very important reason for developing our psychic senses has a very practical side, which is that we can communicate with races that are not from this planet. When you consider how many languages there are on Earth itself, being able to communicate telepathically is an elegant run-around the language barriers that might exist with other beings that are nonhuman. It is just as possible that some races have never even developed language as we think of it. The vast bulk of ET encounters involve witnesses describing telepathic communication as the norm.

Learning to use the same kinds of abilities that ET’s have shown a capacity for is key for several very important reasons where our hope of becoming a space-faring race which is that it keeps us honest. Abductees as well as contactees who have had face to face encounters (I include Clifford Stone in this group who has come forward to disclose his involvement in crash retrieval of ET craft while serving in the army) often state how these beings knew everything about them and efforts to be dishonest or to hide motives from them just wasn’t possible.

Keeping us honest also keeps everyone safe. By using telepathy as all ET’s appear to do, it is very easy to sense when someone isn’t telling you the truth. This is the first step in learning how to operate in an open and transparent manner, something that government officials do very poorly.

Who wants humans who will be exporting both their paranoid mindset as well as their dangerous nuclear technology and weapons systems out into the cosmos?

I contend that by upping our game and learning how to use our broader sensory faculties (the nonphysical ones), we make ourselves available to a host of key emotional and psychological changes that will be necessary prerequisites to ongoing cooperation with our more advanced colleagues who are interstellar travelers. They have a vested interest in our becoming more equal in some important ways, and some have expressed their regret that we aren’t more further along than we are. I will stress that just developing psychic ability isn’t enough, but that a state of enlightenment naturally brings these latent abilities to the fore as all mystic and yogic traditions have clearly illustrated over hundreds, even thousands of years. In other words, developing advanced sensory abilities has a more advanced world view built into them.

I can say that my awakening has certainly opened up a vast realm of communication for me. In the beginning I considered many of my early results to be nothing more than my imagination, but I was also open and hopeful that my experiences could result in something verifiable in a more or less objective way. I have, in a few notable instances, have gotten forms of confirmation from these efforts at contact. I have also been able to use the inner senses that have activated post awakening to see locations I have never been to nor knew nothing about (I have three witnesses to these efforts). I wrote some months ago about how the use or marijuana may have made me even more psychic when I experimented with it in a controlled setting. Ayahuasca and other substances like it have resulted in the pulling down of a barrier in consciousness that appears to have kept us divided from a part of our natural selves, a part that appears to be psychic.

In other cultures other than the West, particularly India, discussion of psychic abilities is frowned upon as it is believed that it can represent a spiritual cul-de-sac where focus on the psychic feeds ego and is beside the point. I take a different view, which is that focus on psychic abilities is not a distraction along the path at all, but is part of who we are in an enlarging context. To use abilities to gain attention or notoriety can cause problems, yes, but to my mind these abilities were not made to be rare, and as long as they are rare fascination is heaped upon them. Make them commonplace, and the fascination goes out of that inflated balloon of ego and self importance. For me, I find them fascinating because they serve as a tether that guides me to the deepest parts of my being.

These are the primal senses, the ones that preexist before our entrance into the physical and are the senses we will use when we drop our bodies in this life and transition into our next phase of existence. I am as fascinated by them as a child is fascinated by watching a frog hopping across the water, or fireflies in the evening dusk. By opening up to the reality of their presence in our lives, we can begin to learn more about who and what we are…and from all accounts, our cosmic neighbors are waiting there for us.

Psi goes hand in hand with ET contact. We will need to develop these abilities further if we ever hope to more fully know the scope of our nonhuman counterparts’ involvement in our world and the cosmos at large.

This would be a good place to go into how to develop your inner senses and psi powers, but I am reminded to keep it as short and simple as possible, a feat which I am largely unable to achieve! There are though many posts that go into psi ability on this blog, and you can certainly search for them using the search function. Already the day is awash in such glorious energy, that it seems a shame to waste it, so I leave you for now and hope that this is food for thought. I am reminded of something that Rumi once said about there being a “field.” I will meet you there.

I often see forecasts for energies, and while I am aware of the body of people who have awakened on the planet, I can’t say that the energy forecasts have had much relevance to me. I think that I have been so active clearing material over the years it may be that I grew unaware of the energetic landscape to a certain extent. I say this and I can also admit that around the time that awakening came I was aware of a lot of pretty strange energies which I attributed to the earth and cosmos. And after all, the Schumann Resonance did begin to change a lot in the earlier part of Y2K, as it continues to do (and that can make you feel absolutely crazy sometimes). I sound so certain and oh so clear, don’t I?

About a week ago I posted a quick little post about getting it right, and it was the week before that, that I began to feel like something had just turbocharged in my body and inner awareness. I can’t lie, it has been alternatively bad and good, but it has been more intense than I can remember it being in a long time. I have had this odd sense of being self-conscious like I was the first few weeks after my awakening, feeling like I had a giant neon sign over my head saying “Awakened!!” I was relieved when I found that no, no one could feel it or notice anything had changed. I would later read how Buddha had wondered the same thing, if people could tell something had happened to him. The only difference was they didn’t have neon signs….but I bet that if they had, he’d have made that allusion sure as shooting!

This energy is a bit of a double-edged sword. When it is so strong it can be very distracting. I have found it hard to do much of anything with any degree of full recognition that it was done. A day of work will fold in on itself and I turn around, as I walk across from the studio to home, just 75 paces in all, and I wonder what I had done all that time, because the time felt like it had simply evaporated. I will have put in a full day with many pieces made, a lot of sweat given up to those pieces, and it is as if a world just pulls in on itself by virtue of my being so present that I sometimes cannot remember what it was I have just done. It isn’t that I can’t, it is that I am swept so powerfully along a tide of bliss that honestly, I could care less. When I am in the bliss I am in the moment and in the moment it is easy to forget things….not because you don’t care but because that is how things are. I know how that sounds, but how different is this from the Buddhists and the Zen teachers who taught non-attachment? I think this is the same. I have it in some areas of my life, but not in others (like relationships — I appear to have pretty solid attachments in regards to those).

In this last week especially, the energy has gone from bliss to stronger and stronger. It feel like a channel is getting overloaded sometimes. I begin to have the feeling like I just need to find something that I can discharge this energy into. I described this to a friend recently as feeling like I am like a lightening bolt without its ground. The energy just seems to build and build. Since bliss is so close to orgasmic energy, this has gotten difficult because it seems like if there was something working in me to clear out some old stuck energy that it would have done it by now. Normally when kundalini begins to work in this way, it is doing something to clear my system. It just does it on its own, this intelligent energy. Maybe I just reached a new peak or ability to hold this much bliss, but I have my doubts about that (but check with me in another month – if it is still pegged up high then maybe I was wrong and this is the new normal).

It’s in a place such as this where I began to wonder if I haven’t been interfacing with the world somehow. Sometimes really strong raw energy in the world, reflective of hard emotions and deeds, I seem to feel as pure energy without knowing what that energy is. Ripples in the Force, perhaps. Sometimes, often actually, I will feel the intensity of it, which can feel fantastic, but then I will get some symptom or edginess with it that tells me there is more to this that I am not seeing or sensing fully. I consider that maybe this is energy out there that has been stamped a bit too hard with the thinking of others that were less than enlightened. I want to disabuse you of the notion that energy somehow “belongs” to any one person. Instead, we swim in a nondual stream where all is one while also individual all at the same time. Saying that one drop of water in the ocean is somehow “yours” in a case such as this is kind of ridiculous. At a certain point, all can be known once you get past the barriers that you have erected before yourself (and which I seem to still have since I don’t always immediately know who put this vibratory stamp on this batch of energy!). I have begun to consider this past week that this might be tied to some world event or other. And then Ukraine happened. To be fair, this run-up to Ukraine has been on a slow roll for years it turns out. It can be real easy to jump to conclusions that this crazy energy might be tied to the events on the other side of the earth. I am not convinced they are, but it’s possible. It’s also possible that there is something wrong with me, and I wont discount that either, but if that is true then the bliss is acting in a protective role in this case. Yes, this is me ruminating. . .

Then I hear how Pluto transits or conjuncts with the U.S.A. on 2/22/2022 an event that hasn’t happened before since about 1776. Pluto is about death and change. It isn’t necessarily about bad things, but change…uh…

Yesterday and today have been a peak. The energy just continues to drive as hard as ever. I have begun to wonder what the point is. Breathing, meditation, nothing calms it.

With the coming of kundalini there also came extrasensory abilities. At first their evidence appeared as blips on my screen, the result of mere coincidences where I thought of something and found out later that what I had thought about had happened, or that when thinking of a person I could see where they were even though I had not ever been there or had that location described to me. Over time I found that these happenings were consistently taking place, repeatedly (not just a one-off) and my sensory take on whatever I was picking up on had a high percentage of accuracy. Now, of course, I have read about how in Eastern practice and their knowledge base in India that abilities are one of a number of signs of the presence of kundalini.

By having this energy pegged so high lately, I have been able to experience something that was very noticeable to me at the time, which was the notion that in the energy there is…..information encoded into it. It sounds a bit strange or counterintuitive, but when I first had interactions with this energy during my initial awakening period, there were signs or symbols in my dreamscapes that revealed a kind of psychological or psychic/spiritual language of sorts present in the symbols of my dreaming (codes or letters in light or in water, for instance). These symbols had a very definite character to them, but were also unlike any form of writing that I have known or seen before. What is curious is how similar those symbols are to what those who have attempted to reproduce them who have also seen them in dreams and meditations. The symbols look somewhat, although not exactly, like Hebrew writing.

I would also add for anyone who is familiar with this language which some have called “light language” it seems to me at least to be a language less about words as it is about describing state of being or intensities in awareness. I also suspect that this language is also tied to the phenomenon of speaking in tongues, known as glossolalia, and which some call ‘light language’ which many people describe singing or talking in, which gives a release or flow of energy that strikes me as being the same kind of release as kriyas do. These symbols may in fact be more like code that makes up the landscape of feeling instead of just thoughts. Anyway, I have suddenly felt closer to this language all of a sudden as well as feeling as though I am in some version of a Matrix movie where everything around me has information encoded within it (which I suspect it does). My Matrix movie, though, develops its plot without violence.

The point here is that beneath the energy lies what I sense is a data stream for lack of a better word. When the energy is strong that stream becomes more obvious to me. This happens because the reality is that sexual energy alters consciousness in such a way that certain ranges of cognition appear to open up in rather fantastic ways, but they don’t always open up during ordinary intimate encounters, and so can be missed entirely. I don’t feel this undercurrent until the energy begins to get to a certain level, and it is as if the energy serves as an illuminating presence that reveals to me that this transmission is going on all the time and I simply hadn’t noticed it. It is a bit like looking at your router where your computer is hooked up. You see all of this data, a bunch of dots and dashes, and there is this tremendous amount of information flowing and what comes out the other end is a picture of a horse or a cat, or a spreadsheet on your computer. The question I have is what is the rest of all of that information doing? It feels like there is a lot more there that we simply aren’t getting at this point.

In the early stages of awakening I was shown how what we call time is itself a very deceiving thing because of the true nature of time outside our system of reality here. I was shown that time itself is real, but what we see here is only one aspect or facet of a much larger phenomenon, which is itself a kind of energetic radiance. The teaching here was that outside the world of mass and gravity here, time is very different. Outside out reality everything is accessible all at once. The sense of sequential events is overturned a good deal as those who have experienced NDE’s (Near Death Experiences) describe how everything felt like it was happening at once, or that they had access to all times, lives, or existences. I was shown that under such a state of awareness what we think of as our snail-paced linear transformation that has taken lifetimes in our earthly perspective has already happened “over there.” I had a hint of this reality in a past life as a man who was crying for a vision as a Awaneechee in California in the mid to late 1800’s. In his vision he was shown by a Thunderbeing how all time existed for it like a landscape. This being spoke of a time in the future when I would be reborn as a new person in a time when the earth would be going through a cleansing (now), and as I looked out through that being’s eyes, I could see how it related to the future. It already existed for this being. It spoke with great certainty about the event of my birth in this world at an important time in earth history. For the Thunderbeing, all it had to do was to look off slightly in the distance to see where I was in this other life, the one that I am living today. For the Thunderbeing, all of this was a certainty, it looked off into the distance slightly and could see my life there which had not yet happened in the life as our Native American man. If this is so, and I think it is, then there are states we access where the unity of all things is not only possible but can be shared in a practical way with us here through these glimpses into these rarefied spaces of awareness. I suspect, though, that most people will want to frame them as an encounter with
God or something outside of themselves when in truth they may be encountering the god of themselves unbound by time and space where there is no cause or effect, only the realization of what we are in the scope of infinity. Its so big a thing that it can be almost irrelevant for most people here, making it difficult if not impossible to discuss with words. It may only be transferrable through direct cognition, psi (or maybe poetry).

It is this information that lends to my mind the sense of what the ancients called hieros gamos, which is simply put ‘sex with a god.’ This was clearly a facet of human experience in many cultures, and it is curious to me, and perhaps telling, that people felt close to the gods when intimate. I suspect that this is so because of the effect that bliss energy has on consciousness. It is interesting to me that in my life I have had two women both describe a precise account of an experience during intimacy with me that involved seeing energy as a star field that sped up and exploded, and how it was that this experience that they both experienced was tied in some way to our physical intimacy. In each case, we were experiencing ourselves in a higher nonphysical form. I think that the idea that the gods may be in us or that our awareness expands in certain states to include a much larger story has been there for a very long time.

I have long been aware of a presence of my higher self that comes forward during meditation and in acts of intimacy. It only happens when I am completely surrendered and feel at ease with who I am with. It can’t be forced, and sometimes just an expectation of it being there on the part of my partner can be enough to make me feel self conscious enough to make finding that state elusive. There is too much of a feeling of being on some stage. All this to say that this is a very natural phenomenon that has arisen as my consciousness has expanded or accelerated over these last fifteen years. As I reflect I realize that right now is very close to the anniversary of my awakening.

In fact the period of time that I have been feeling such intense energy corresponds with my awakening in early 2007. Added to this is how Pluto is coming into the picture (is there anything to any of this planetary movement?), and what is up with the world at large. It becomes very easy for me to wonder whether what I have been experiencing is a synchronized anniversary event that may have been exaggerated by the very turbulent energies at play in the world stage that are now playing out in Russia. Whether or not that is so, I can say that whatever you think you see playing out as the official version of reality (a public narrative) is most certainly not what is actually happening. One thing is for sure: the world is drenched in deception, and there is a lot of it happening on a daily basis that often has more to do with how one person or country wants an outcome and is willing to lie to get it.

OMG….He Is Going Political…

Right now the narrative at play on the world stage is that Russia is an aggressor who is invading Ukraine. That is true, but what is also at play are how Western forces, especially the U.S., who have been meddling in Ukraine, going so far as to pick the people in the government in a recently discovered recording leaked to the press has revealed. Ukraine was supposed to be for Russia a buffer from NATO and now the Western allies are going against that promise which was made by Reagan and Bush when the fall of the Berlin wall was front page news. Most people see what happened in Ukraine through a Western lens, but there is more to the story, which includes Russian wanting to protect itself.

Right now there are a bunch of narratives being pushed that hides the involvement of Western forces in a conflict that is being represented to appear to be a straightforward invasion by Russia when in truth there is a lot more at work, but because of how much faith some people put in corporate media, it means that the narrative they want to put out gets taken up by a large block of the population. For those willing to dig there is another narrative that tells a different story. And what is taking place right now in this regard is no different from what has been happening for hundreds of years. It’s just that the deceit has ratcheted up considerably from where it was fifty years ago in the U.S.A. If you don’t agree with the Orthodox view then you become a kind of outcast and that becomes your punishment. For some people that means losing jobs and their place in society as a person of influence, say. What is interesting to note though is that in this system, those who push back and fight this effort to silence through demonizing, people have won back a level of credibility again (which is a ray of hope for now).

When I awoke I could feel the mass of deception turning in the world even though I didn’t know specifically what it was at the time. What this sense has done is it has led me to investigate news story more deeply, more thoroughly, to see if there is more to the story than is being reported. On the one hand it can look like someone like myself is being paranoid, but as is often the case, I will find out later that my concerns which were rooted in a feeling of deception in a world event and the reporting on it were founded in truth, but not one that was immediately apparent. I will also say that in order to do this requires that you clear away as much of the rubbish within your subconscious because the self has to be clear to get a clear signal. I am not suggesting that I am some great psychic, though. I am not. I have certain areas where I do pretty well, but I am not always 100%.

Can Our Inner Senses Save Us From Ourselves?

It is against this backdrop that I often feel rumblings months and weeks before events taking place. I, like others like me, can detect the smell of deception most often, and while we may not always know exactly where the deception is in world events, they can often be seen once the events have rolled out. In some cases anyone can see how what officials say often falls apart when scrutinized, so this is not always a hard thing to do for the average person as it now stands, but to feel it coming down the pike and not being aware fully enough to know that there is a new version of “fuckery” coming our way or what form it will take exactly is the real challenge at this point. In that space the awareness is beyond physical sensory capability, and this is just where we need to go as a race just to keep people honest. Once we get to that level we will be able to see events emerge just before they do, or as they do, and be able to see how they are in fact constituted instead of how they are sold or represented to the public, we will be much more able to fight against this endless need to spin and lie. It is possible for us that in the future we will all be able to smell the rat in world events. There is this old axiom that says here on earth we can hide things, but in spirit all things are known. I think we are in the process of knitting spirit more closely to our world here, which itself serves to alter how this reality can be experienced. If we can raise everyone’s awareness as a simple matter of course, I think that would spell hope for humanity. As was said in the movie Avatar, “We must first cure you of your insanity…”

All of this to say that I think that we can be more aware of what is happening around us because it may well be streaming through us as a kind of coded light signal much like the computer code that makes it possible for you to see a horse or kitten or that spreadsheet on your computer screen. I know that I can feel it and often dip my toe into it in order to begin detecting what is moving by at the speed of light. I also know that this is happening all the time, and under certain instances, I am more aware of it than in others. The fact that I am more aware of it through sexual energy is very curious to me and I think it suggests to me that in meditation I may need to extend the level of surrender I feel in intimacy to my meditative practice. While the bliss is constant and assists greatly in staying in that nondual state, I sense that there are more blocks to knock down, blocks that I think are entirely artificial and unnecessary. I do wonder whether sexual surrender and bliss creates the same required state needed in order to use psi abilities correctly, that is, an empty mind that doesn’t seek to insert what it think fits but instead waits for the information to come (the difference between tuning in a station and making up what you think that station might say were you to be actually be able to be tuning it in).

It seems counter-intuitive but clearing the mind is the first precursor or requirement for clear and uncluttered psi sensing. I am reminded of this person I knew who was convinced that she had superior psi ability. She went on telling me what I was thinking and feeling and over and over again, it was clear that she had done little other than insert her own fears and beliefs into what she thought was a genuine sensing ability. Because she believed that if she was sensing psychically, it had to all be correct. That was the logic that appeared to be used. She had superior intuition, she had after all sensed all of this material (which was completely off the mark). This was for me an important lesson in learning to clear away all the crap within that can cloud inner sensing. It is soooo easy to want to insert something that you feel is right instead of being that still receiver, like a radio.

One good thing to come out of all of this has been my reaching a point where I began to sit back and kind of laugh about it all. Somewhere inside my heart I just wanted the people of the world to be good ethical people. We aren’t, though. Self interest flies through the air like flaming arrows, all at cross purposes with others in transit as they create chaos in the world. It is what I call The Big Ugly Beautiful. It’s ugly, that is true, and it is going to probably stay that way, and the point may be not to have a perfect world, but to be perfectly human and not take it all so damned seriously.

I looked at all of this, the whole thing, and I thought how what we really need is to spend more time sitting down eating meals with one another, seeing each other for who we are and not judging. Everyone is on their own journey, and everyone is at a different place than everyone else. If asked I would have said to those angels to save Sodom, because the whole world is like that. Perfect? What a heresy that is. Come, have some smoked pork. Or try this salad…stuff your mouth and just look at the light in each person’s eye. We are killing everything that we eat, come join the celebration of death and life! Maybe we either find a way not to kill through our technology or we find a way to be humane in our killing so we may live. It’s a conundrum, don’t you think, all this killing in order to survive, killing that none of us really wants to look at or acknowledge is happening (so it’s done behind closed doors so we don’t see the slaughter)?

We are all so different but also much the same. We have spent centuries feeling shame for the very range of energy that might free us from our bonds, which is this crazy thing I feel when the sexual energy is driven or pegged high enough, which is how everything is like a vast internet and I am plugged in, plugged into some great cosmic play of divine union second by millisecond….and I really don’t know how to even say it to anyone except myself.

I lean back in my chair and my back cracks from mid-back all the way up into my shoulders. My muscles are just a little tight, causing those bones to slip out of alignment. And yet, with one gentle release of breathe and leaning backward, those bones all line up like they know how they are supposed to be. DO we know how we are supposed to be, what we may be in a fuller or larger context? Is it even important to seek that? Will it do any good for this, our corner of Sodom? My back will fall out of alignment in another hour and I will lean back, arching backward over the chair back as I feel that delicious alignment brought back to rights…I am clearly unclear on something niggling at me, though, but it isn’t clear enough that I seem able to just find it on my own. Maybe by saying that it will signal to my innermost self that a challenge has been thrown down for it to delicately deliver to me….maybe in a dream, maybe in the midst of meditation, maybe in that gap of thought that transpires at seemingly random moments during the day where I become inattentive enough that a bigger story can be told and my mind can absorb it. I could say that this is as simple as a need for all humans to have communion, but it feels like there is more than just that on offer, there is a new world rising. Can we understand what that ultimately means for us, or will we sink back into our illusions again because they are the devil that we know instead of the strange angel of our better nature. One thing is for sure: I am not going to find it sitting here for another minute.

Dinner is served at 6 o’clock sharp…

I lost a dear friend not long ago. Because he had no children, was single, and had no family nearby, it meant his closest friends stepped in to help him while he was in the hospital. Sadly, he never made it out.

During his stay in the hospital I checked his mail, checked his house, ran errands. At one point I found myself thinking about a building he had on the property that had an electronic lock, a building I didn’t have access to, but I wondered if it was alright during frigid temperatures. I was sitting at home visualizing this lock and as I did so, I saw the combination being tapped out on the keypad. It was a four-number combination. It all came about like a daydream. Simple, no pressure, no expectations.

Today, I met with the executor of my friend’s estate to go over a few things he might need help with. While there he took me down to the building I had seen in my mind’s eye the combination for. I must admit I was keen to see if my earlier impression was right or not. Ever the scientist, you see. And? To my surprise what I saw earlier alone was exactly what the executor used to open the door. I had a slight thrill in that moment, a private one.

What I noted about the original remote view was how easy it all came. I had managed to let this all happen naturally without trying to add anything in or take anything out….it just happened effortlessly and naturally. Moral: it is more likely to be correct if it feels “too easy.”

Two years ago, while learning a new glass form in the studio, I made a wrong move and got a serious burn on my arm. A curious thought arose just as the pain began to barrel into my body. The thought went like this: “it wont hurt…” In seconds, the sense of burning pain ‘flipped’ to become a sensation of coolness, not pain. It remained that way as the burn scabbed over and then healed. It amazed me that I could get the result that I did. I mentioned this event in a post in the Fall two years ago here at WTI. It was one of the first hints that mind could convince the body and brain to change how signals in the body are interpreted. On the one hand, having signals read as pain serve a purpose, but on the other, they show evidence that they can be mediated by the mind when the need arises to change them.

Two days ago I was working in the studio making a piece for an order. In walks some customers. Feeling rushed, I didn’t slip on the protective wear I normally do to protect myself from radiant heat burns. The piece I was working on had to be extra hot in order to properly complete a certain step in the making of the piece. With glass, it is in the range of 15-1900 degrees F. inches from the hand, so even without touching a hot object you can get burned if your skin remains too long in close to the heat source.

I know how crazy this sounds: why would anyone keep their body so close to a heat source that it burns? The answer, my friend, is a glassblower does this often. Normally we are aware of the kind of exposure to keep from getting more than a heat rash or a sunburn-like condition. You learn the difference between heat that will cause discomfort and what will result in burns (and as a glassblower I reach that threshold many times in a day). Normally. I felt my hand and arm burning, and by the time I was near to being finished, the damage was done. Like Icarus, I had flown too close to the sun. Then the piece didn’t turn out either. I was slowly getting caught up in frustration…which is never a good thing.

Putting away the pipe, the severity of the burn became apparent to me. It was the worst radiant burn to date (after 25 years of working with glass). Whoo, boy! I shifted quickly into customer mode and rushed into the gallery to wait on my customers before the burn became unbearable.

I was also feeling preoccupied with how stuck I had become in both the frustration and the pain as I entered the gallery. I explained this to my customers, apologizing if I was not acting my best. I lifted my arm to take a look. My forearm was speckled red with some small blisters forming. The side of my hand had a blister about the size of a nickle. I stayed stuck in my frustration as my customers took their time. All this while, the effects of the burn continued to develop.

After a bit, I was back in the studio facing this situation. This wasn’t good. I imagined that I would be out of commission for a few days as my arm and hand healed. Then I remembered what happened with my burned arm a couple of years ago and how I was able to do what I did back then. Why wasn’t I able to make the pain go away this time? Why wasn’t I immune to it now?

While I thought about this, the realization arose that I hadn’t tried to change the outcome yet. Oh right, I need to go down into it first. I had to find that place in my mind that acts like the operating system for the body. I had to tap into the autonomous nervous system.

First, I quieted my mind despite the physical pain. I do this by considering it’s possible that I can create a place of calm seperate from all of the sensory hubbub going on. I reached into this bottomless calm that is always available when I can get my mind right. After a few moments, I then regarded the pain. As I did this, there came my own presence of mind along with calm accompanied by the pain. I simply thought how I could make the pain go away. I sat with the pain and calm at the same time. To do this yourself, there is no magic to it except that you are willing to consider that both states are possible. It only becomes possible when you do it. I suspect that when you can be calm and not wince at the pain this is a dignal to the deeper part of the brain. It’s like you are behaving as though it doesn’t hurt. I suspect that when you do this and come to the brain with this kind of state, the brain is susceptible and willing enough to take that as a signal and makes the change. I am the first to admit that it isn’t easy to do this in the face of pain of this sort. If you can not act as though you are getting caught up in the pain signal, you can actually make it go away or “shift” it. It will likely feel like an imperfect alliance of stark contrasts. Still, you can tell yourself that anything is possible, much like I did.

In turns, the pain ebbed away, and then came back, before retreating again. While I observed this I saw that the pain was behaving the way it was because my thoughts had not been consistent. The pain came along because I was expecting it to. It was the most curious effect watching this happen the way it did. The pain came because of a deep natural belief that it would. I had momentarily wandered into both the fear reaction along with a resistance feeling put up against the pain, and these two identifiable elements tracked along with the experience until I was able to get better command of the situation. Both were keeping me in pain, I realized. I let those go using intention and imagination: I imagined what letting it go might feel like. While this was a kind of pretend, added to a deep inner calm and ignoring the pain, the situation began to resolve. I hadn’t jumped on this immediately, so there was now more to contend with, I realized. Then a few unexpected things happened quickly after I was able to shift the pain…

The red rash on my forearm went away very quickly. The line of small blisters went away also (in minutes). There were now only a series of red spots (those haven’t gone away). The blister on the side of my hand then began to subside. It had been filled with fluid moments before. Within an hour, the blister reversed itself. That had never happened before.

The blistered skin knitted itself back to the dermis the following day. This was new in my experience. Now a second day later, the area that was the blister feels and behaves like regular skin. Normally, the skin dries out and becomes a bit like a scab, which then peels away after about a week. The upper layer of skin isn’t drying out. There is some discoloration, a darkened area that looks like it is on the lower layers of the skin. I know, too much information, huh?

Since beginning this experiment my burn -while discolored slightly – is behaving normally, now a week later.

I mention this with a degree of caution because this hints at an area of inner work and mind/body connection that while beneficial for how I have used it, is not without risks. I am reminded of an interview many years ago by NPR where a group of Chinese monks who had learned to gain control over their autonomous nervous system. They demonstrated their abilities by going out during the coldest night of February (during the full moon of that month) donning nothing more than wet sheets, which they would dry by controlling their body temperature. The journalist described how the monks wrapped in the sheets, would open and close the sheets while their bodies seemed to be unfazed by the low temperatures in their environment. They came down from the high mountains having dry bed sheets. Later, a monk when asked how they achieved this, explained that he could not explain precisely how it was done because, in his words, “You could kill yourself.” In this case, this feat of control had as much to do with being able to slow heart rate as ramping up body temperature.

You need to go carefully into this kind of work, and this is one reason why I have not gone further into it with trying to slow my heart rate, for example. That said, someone at some point discovered this and developed it at one point without the benefit of a teacher either. My suspicion is that this was very carefully investigated by going very incrementally into this area of mind/body control, and anyone doing this should also consider this reality that could lead to harm for anyone who acts foolishly. This work, I suspect, opens the door to ALL controls over the body at a level that we are not accustomed to.

The converse is also true, though. It is possible to effect change that is positive for the body by helping to regulate chemistry that may have been run by subconscious material rather than conscious intent. It is possible, when carefully and incrementally done, to shift body chemistry to ranges that benefit the body instead of tearing it down. Fear, and its corresponding chemistry of adrenaline and norepinepherine, could be controlled in order to break the looping cycle of fear and wean a person off what may have been an instinctive pattern over many years to always go to the fear response and an unhealthy dose of adrenaline, norepinephrine, and cortisol. This alone can lead to better health and a body that is in a more balanced state (without pharmaceuticals which never solve the root cause but only address a down-stream condition of result). Sadly, and understandably, there is no public instruction available on how to achieve this type of work.

Now in typical Parker style, I am going to toss you what might seem to be a curve ball. Stay with me though, because I think it will hint strongly at our potentials as humans.

In a town called Varhinga in Brazil, there were multiple sightings of ET beings out in the open. There were multiple witnesses from local women to a physician who worked for the military there to fix a broken bone in an ET who had been captured by the military there. If you read about this incident in popular media, it sounds like a “nothing burger” but it wound up being one of the most amazing encounters in ufology. Robert Leir, who was known for his removal and analysis of implants many abductees have wrote a book about his findings about the events surrounding the case. In it, he interviews the attending physician who says he worked on the being. During the procedure the being communicated tellepathically with him. The ET also took control of the physician’s body in order to get him to perform the surgery in the correct way. He recounts that the being told him many things, but he also said he would only tell the author about two of the things it had said. He described the information as hitting him in his head like a hammer, coming in fast, and left him with a feeling of nausea. He said the being said that it felt sorry for humans because they could do what this being could do, but didn’t know how to do it. It also expressed sadness that humans didn’t inquire more inyo their spirituality, giving him the sense that humans had little clue about what was possible with a better awareness in place.

Now that might sound way out there, but there are other encounters reported that tend to reveal ET’s stating similar sentiments. We are a bit like the planet of the apes to them when we could be much more evolved and more in command of ourselves. The mere suggestion of tellepathy, which every ET race has exhibited an abillity for is a subject that will instantly get the hackles up of the average man or woman on the street. While this is changing bit by bit, we stand before a kind of conspiracy of ignorance that keeps the past replaying itself in regards to humans being able to glimpse their inner potential (and their inner senses). For as strange as this may sound, it is pointing us in a direction many are discovering in our current day, which is evidence of inner senses and a broader capacity we have as humans which was only thought to be the domain of the yogis and adepts, locked up in a vault of secrecy, and the ignorance that always leads from such embargo’s of how things could be different. Reversing pain is just one hair on the tip of the tiger I think.

So there you go. The reason why I mention this is to make you aware that if I did this, so can you if you are willing to give this a try. Being able to cancel pain in this way can be very helpful. As for changing heart rate and blood pressure, that remains to be seen and absent a monk being able to counsel me on this, I will offer great caution going forward.

All throughout this blog much of what I have written in regards to my personal experience related to the phenomenon of awakening has been to suggest directions in which we can all go, or consider as areas of inquiry about the unfolding nature and emergent nature of our consciousness particularly as it relates to “enlightenment” (for as much as I dislike the term) or awakening (which is much better I think since it more accurately suggests what is happening in the process). This is something that you have yourself. You only need enough interest and passion, to investigate it seriously enough to begin developing your own natural abilities.

Many masters who teach about the nature of enlightenment warn against filling the mind of the student with too many ideas about what to expect concerning any number of different facets of the journey to enlightenment. What often happens is, by not knowing, the student or neophyte builds up in their mind what they think the experience might look and feel like. By doing this, the mind creates an imagined image of something that in all likelihood is innacurate. The problem with this is that it represents a journey away from what is most essential. These things are so simple even a child knows how to relate to them. Be ye like children!

The other side of the coin is that as sentient beings, we have the operations for enlightenment already within us. The Buddha sleeps in all, and when it awakens, it reveals what is most essential or true when the personality can listen to it with the innocence and open curiosity of a child (with no assumptions taken on). If one does what was prescribed for reaching the awakened state, there is nothing else to teach because the innermost knowing, the cosmic consciousness of the Hindu the Tibetans, Taoists, or the gnosis of the early Christians, is revealed or made manifest. Even as I say this, though, there can be the expectation that awakening is an arrival, suggesting to some that upon awakening I will know all that needs to be known when in fact this knowing operates more like an onion that we peel back layer by layer to the degree that the personality (and ego) are ready to examine and be open to this new knowledge. It is possible for the personality to be resistant to an important truth in the process, and as a result, the information or awareness of that information can be kept out from personal awareness and ones experience.

In reality the ordinary person is laboring, unknowingly, under the operatiom of countless inner programs which directs her attention which we call beliefs. It is hard to know or to realize the degree to which these beliefs govern perception or awareness. All who labor under them do not know that they do so, and are completely unaware that belief is governing them.

When I say belief, I mean any number of ideas which a personality can hold. It can be beliefs about how the person thinks the world works, which can include beliefs from the culture (often reflected in words like “values”), politics, and religion or spirituality. The hardest beliefs to identify are the ones that don’t seem to be beliefs at all. There is a very neat trick we play on ourselves sometimes when we tell ourselves that we don’t believe in something. “I don’t believe in this Judeo Christian concept of God” and the self then thinks it is being naturally innoculated against belief. In truth, this is itself a belief, one in which the world is devoid of a superconscious whose existence gave direction or form to the worlds we know today. What results is an end to any meaningful investigation along these lines of an inner direct manner.

What this belief does is it builds up an artificial wall within experience and perception that then says (without pronouncing it loudly), “I will disregard anything pertaining to the existence of a divine presence!” The self perhaps believes this because the stories written about God strike them as preposterous or unlikely, maybe more reflective of our ideas of what a God might be like (which of course many stories about God do contain). What is lost is the path to what a god might actually look like or be beyond the world of built-up ideas, legends, myths and tales (i.e., beliefs).

We all have the ability to know just about anything about the universe. I know that may sound impossible to some, but one thing I learned early on in my awakening process is that beyond the island of our carefully managed beliefs is an ocean of knowledge just waiting to be tapped into.

It’s interesting how a belief, which we tend to feel is so completely true can in fact misdirect us so much. The reason why it does this is how belief requires the mind to stop probing and sensing inwardly. This probing is called the intuition, and part of it involves the nonlocal or universal mind. Some call this the higher self. In truth all designations have truth and each are connected to the other so that yes, it is universal mind AND it is the higher self AND it is the accumulated wisdom of the self that you are right here, right now.

Belief involves a suspension of critical examination, part of the logic process, that shuts down any effort at questioning the belief. Belief has at its core a circular motion whose only purpose is to perpetuate itself. This is how silly ideas have been perpetuated for thousands of years largely unchecked.

As humans, we are so used to using the rational mind as if it is the end-all and be-all of intellectual determination, when in fact logic only plays a very limited role in this process. The part of the mind and brain that handles logic has no intuitive capacity. Logic is a tool that was designed to be used by the intuitive self for testing its knowledge. It isn’t the knowledge itself, but is a process by which things can be known experientially. Logic, then, would be the discipline that would allow you to properly investigate the evidence of God existing in all of matter, for instance. How that is done is an investigative process when the intuition either does not know or knows so well that it gives up its knowledge so clearly that the logic-driven experiment is simply known without needing trial and error to reveal the correct steps in the experiment. Both instances are possible but it seems that unless a person is clear or knowledgable of the steps required that some trial and error is required. Einstein knew in an intuitive flash the ideas behind Relativity but spent years working out the math to explain it, for instance.

It sounds impossible that the mind could know what the self has no experience with, but this is precisely what intuition can do. You might be like Einstein and see the core of the math as phenomenon without knowing the math at all. It is instead experienced directly as a felt experience. Feeling is operative in having intuition work well. It is the opposite of logic.

The most important part in learning to cultivate intuition is being alright with having no formulated ideas about how a given inquiry will go. Will we find God lurking in the subatomic particles? Who knows, it’s a mystery. Let’s keep our mind completely open.

The mindset most necessary to nurturing intuition in my experience is this attitude. It assumes nothing at all. In fact, the more you can learn to let the mind be a blank screen, the more likely you are to catch glimpses of what is actually out there. In this case, the radio is not talking to itself but is in contact with the multiverse. I am trying to show you how to be a gifted channel for the universe. Intuitive is receptive and has often been seen as feminine while logic is more masculine. These are qualities every person has, so everyone has an equal opportunity to be able to develop it if that is their interest.

The more you can completely suspend belief, the better you will be at receiving, like a radio, the information that exists “out there.” While this has been central to the investigative and psychic method known as remote viewing, it is also how many of the most gifted psychics operate: completely blind. Doing this, while disconcerting for some at first, is the only real way to go when doing this work. It requires a suspension of ego, and self as the judge of experience. There is a lot of very neurotic habits tied up in needing to know to the point where one becomes rigidly fixed in ego and the personality and all of its previous experience, now controlled and filtered by its conglomerate of beliefs, traumas, and habits, so that the deeper truth may have no hope of ever emerging. There is simply too much competing material.

This also suggests that releasing stored emotion is another strand in the path to becoming more intuitive. Experience has shown that the best intuitives are those who have been at this work for lifetimes and is often an outgrowth or consequence of a deep abiding desire to know the truth and not a version of it. This is most often driven by a great love within and a devotion for truth. It often means stripping the self bare, often of cherished notions, just to know what is real or true. This forms itself into a multi-lifetime journey that takes time to develop and mature into. It may be that you have done this work before and are reading this now because you need to be reminded. If you have no experience with this, this might be the catalyst that starts the process. It isn’t like you will have to wait lifetimes because its capacity is already in everyone. You need only to know how to bring it out. Experts may have been at it before, but this is a capacity all humans have.

To cultivate this in your life requires practice. Most assume that the logical part of the mind is superior, and so always grasp for that reflexively. Can you differentiate between logic and intuition? Do you know it when you feel it?

In truth, logic is inferior to the part of mind that can know the cosmic, which is a completely different part of the brain from the logical linear left hemisphere. It isn’t that the brain creates or generates these experiences, but more that they both receive, like a biological radio, signals from the nonlocal consciousness that exists outside of time and space and is thus transcendent by its very nature. The personality thus does not realize how naturally psychic that it is.

The most uncomfortable condition for many along this path is being okay with not knowing. The most important skill to my mind in this work is getting used to not knowing, or being a blank slate. When you can do this, you do not engage the part of you that grasps. This is always the logical side of self. It thinks that is the path to success. Only in its limited way is this true.

What I want to point you to is how to not grasp, instead, holding your hand (your mind) open. When you do this, all the sands of all the deserts flow through your hand. Try and grasp it, and you only get a bit of grit.

The intuitive right brain operates best when wide open so that it can be the expert channel that it is. It knows nothing and yet can know All. The skill in using it lies in knowing when it is being used then trusting that when the sand flows that it can see the one single grain that you wish to see. It’s intelligence is a mystery how it does what it does. When I use it to locate a friend, it shows me the scene where she is in this very moment. I note the time, I jot down the details, and I ask her what she was doing between 11:00 a.m. to noon EST. I never know what I will see or be led to. Sometimes intuition will work on its own. You pluck a book randomly off a library bookshelf, pop it open, and find the very page that answers your question from an hour before.

Putting my money where my mouth is, I did all my research for a chapter in a book using only the intuitive as the way. Instead of researching authors and finding dead-end after dead-ends after spending hours in the library, I instead would accidentally discover passages in books that contained the informatiin that I needed. People would mention sources without my hsving mentioned needing the source—this was all serendipity. This happened numerous times. I already knew the material but I needed additional sources more than just me saying it for the book. This worked beautifully. Intuition brought me to sources within moments instead of days or weeks of searching card catalogs or reading extracts, for example. This all seems impossible, but for the intuition, anything is possible (or nearly so). Anyone can do what I do. This is the entire point for me writing this to you.

The good thing about this is you can test yourself and work to hone your skill in this area. When you get a miss, it requires, for me, to go back and think carefully about what I was doing at the time. Chances are, I assumed something or thought something instead of abiding with the information. I inserted an assumption somewhere. It usually isn’t a mere miss, but because I inserted something from my mind into the flow of information.

There are many benefits to doing this work. It reveals how neurotic we can be in needing to know and to control our environments when the impulse to control is itself the antithesis of genuine knowledge very often. By clearing the mind you can enter into silent presence, which is a great way to feel the soul of the world or the presence behind all things. It leads to deepening relaxation and the untying of emotional knots within the self. It is an undoing that feels like a threat to the neurotic, to those who always needs to know what’s happening and how to manage it. It undoes the fundamental lack of trust in the world as a safe place to be. There is no need to rush—we have plenty of time (lifetimes in fact). It can lead you to your fundamental nature as a creative being, a creative energy felt as bliss.

You have to learn to trust yourself and to depend on yourself to do this work. Start simply, inquire, and practice. If you keep the findamental ideas in place, any practice (not built on belief) will likely work.

Boy, this has taken a bit of courage to post especially given my stance on using substances for altering consciousness in the past. Gulp. I am writing, though, to share an observation and point something out that happened in the event that you are interested in taking a deeper look on your end. Or not.

July 1st 2021 was the day that the prohibition of marijuana ended in the state of Virginia. Not long after that, a friend stopped by the studio after having obtained weed. All legal, now, and what a strange place to be I suppose.

If you read my blog you will see that I advocate natural means for reaching alternate states of consciousness. While Terrance McKenna didn’t believe it was possible to enter into the numinous without DMT or psilocybin, I know different. While I very much respect what these early psychonauts were attempting to do, theirs was just one path or road to “Oz.” In a way I would have liked to have spent some time with Terrance explaining to him how I came across this naturally. I don’t think it would have changed his mind, though. For his generation he had found a viable way of gathering knowledge and experience that in many ways is perfectly valid because of how broad and far-reaching consciousness is. My way took longer so it was not a path meant for the impatient. People get bored quickly.

While under the influence of a drug we say that our consciousness has been altered. Has it really been “altered” unnaturally? We have receptors for all kinds of substances that are found in nature that allow us to experience what those agents do to us. We also have bodies that produce many of those compounds naturally also. You can see that I might appear like I am hemming and hawing. The truth is, I think that plant agents can be very helpful if used judiciously and not used so they become like a crutch. That said, what I hear from friends who have used marijuana for years illegally, is that it is far superior for cutting anxiety and helping with sleep than drugs that leave them feeling out of sorts and with other unintended symptoms (“may cause intestinal bleeding, rapid heart rate, shingles, fear of the unknown, sleeplessness, and dizziness”).

Recently a friend offered some of the devils lettuce to me and I decided that I would take a very small amount because I was curious to see what effect it would have on me now that I have awakened. I decided quite unexpectedly that I would give it a go after many decades of having sweared it off. I explained to my friend that one reason why I didn’t smoke the stuff was because it made me feel like I could feel this immensely large consciousness very close to me and I explained that I could not tell if that consciousness was me or if it was something else. It made me feel very….self conscious too! My friend looked at me and just smiled. I realized she had no idea what I was even talking about, and I kind of felt funny even mentioning it. That’s one reason why I don’t talk much about any of this stuff because I inevitably wind up sounding like I am crazy. Or baked.

“I’m not baked! It just sound like I am!”

After my friend left to go home, I was free to turn my attention inward, which I was eager to do to see if I could trace the contours of my awareness and see if I noticed anything different about it. Obviously I felt different, yes, that was the drug, but what about whether it might confer something interesting in regards to awareness? It all happened quite quickly.

At first I thought it was my imagination. It seemed real, but ever the scientist, I needed some form of proof one way or the other. What had happened was my mind turned to my two children who live on their own now, having grown up. When I thought of them I had the distinct impression that my mind was locking into their own vibration and that I was seeing through their own awareness, something that had not happened before in the way it was happening on that day recently (I keep my distance so as not to spy on my kids). It was novel and different from what I have experienced in years past when I had a connection to someone or when I was running some strong energy that would have an effect on my awareness. I don’t mean to sound contradictory; when awakening came there was a slew of phenomenon that I was peppered with and they all seemed to just happen without knowing how or why. Yes, so I was psychic from having awakened. The Hindu write at length about this, it is a sign of attainment. And everyone is a little different, none of this is a competition. In those earlier cases, my perceptions would become more sharp or would open up more. This would mean I would feel what others around me were feeling. The difference between then and now was that back then I felt like I was tossed bodily into the experience. I felt like I had little say-so about it. I felt it bodily, but what I was feeling or experiencing recently was a lot more controlled. I felt it more as though I was in control of myself, and I had the distinct impression that something in my awareness was able to just slip into these thought-streams and it certainly had the distinct feeling like that was exactly what was happening. Still, maybe it was just my imagination, maybe it was the weed. I took a few moments and surveyed the landscape of the mind of one child and when I decided to pull out of it, it was like breaking the surface of the water and I was out of it. In fact, it was like waking up from a dream where it got to be a little hard to even remember what it was I had just seen and experienced.

Reflexively, my mind turned to my second child, and the experience was completely different. I experienced what felt like a panic attack, but it was unlike any kind I have myself ever experienced before. It came on very fast and then was gone very quickly. While I was experiencing this, it felt completely real to me. What’s more, it showed me something about my child that I had not considered previously. I had seen these sudden outbursts before and I had not understood them, two had happened just recently when I was helping with a move from one apartment to another. It had thrown me for a loop. It was upsetting, and I was left at a loss as to what on earth had just happened. Was it possible that I had gotten inside someone’s head? Was it possible that I was now seeing or experiencing what this child sometimes experiences? In similar fashion as the first experience, when I was out of it, it felt like popping out of the ocean, moving from one phase or mode into another. I was now back in my own local focus. When had that happened before the way I had just experienced it? I couldn’t say that I had experienced reading someone like that in the way I had just done. The difference was that I felt like I was in control of the experience. I was able to pull out when I was ready. I felt like there was this observer in me that was able to watch and then feel what this emotional and mental material meant (or seemed to mean). Still…was it just the weed that had done this, had created the appearance of this phenomenon? Like I have said, it felt like the real thing.

The memory of the experience kept at me the rest of that afternoon. By that evening, I resolved to call my child to compare notes. My only concern was there might be no interest in talking about any of this, but when I did call there was no resistance to discussing it. I was so relieved. I remembered what a psychic friend of mine explained to me many years ago who said that often when we read someone and really see them, when we see them next, they will often tell you everything about what it was that you had seen perhaps a few days or a week before. She explained that it was like some part of them knew that they had been seen, and this is something that sparks a response even if it comes from a more subconscious state. We know, but we don’t know that we know. Perhaps we suddenly feel like we want to tell that person our life story, or one part of it. I had experienced this before with a number of people who I had read in similar ways before, so I had seen some evidence of this being a thing. “Read them and then they will then speak back to you everything that you saw, which is a very good way to confirm without needing to ask that what was seen was accurate.” What was remarkable was how much of a breakthrough it represented in my understanding of another person. It became clear to me that what was experienced was in line with what my child experiences.

The feeling that I had when this scan happened was a sense that I was going deeper into my mind than I normally go. I don’t know how else to describe it than that. I had the distinct impression that I was using or utilizing a part of my brain that doesn’t normally get used and it felt like it was a deep innermost core part of brain and self. Each time that I had this experience happen, I was aware that I was in this very deep place within that had been made possible with the use of the marijuana. Maybe it is a little bit like what we do when we channel? No, strike that; it didn’t feel quite like that. No one was taking me over. I was slipping into a mind-stream and my own inner perceptions were analyzing and sensing what was taking place or what exists within their mind-field of thought and feeling. That is what it seems like from my vantage point right now. One outcome was that I understood a little better how my child might get triggered by me or something I say or do. It was helpful because by being more aware of what I say or do or how I interact, I can in some instances head the triggers off at the pass.

It feels like I have gone full circle in my work and my experience with kundalini. In the beginning, I was swept up by the force of the energy and I had all kinds of unusual experiences taking place that I seemed to have no control over, they simply would happen. I would know things, I would walk past someone on the street and I would feel their painbody or their load that they were carrying around. I didn’t seem to have any control over it or when or how it would happen. Now, though, it felt much more controlled. It felt like I had found that place in the center of my brain where there is this transceiver. It felt just like that. It felt like I went into a place don’t normally go that was quite deep and it was there that I could see in this “new” way. Yes, I have had experiences similar to this before, but now it was also different. Now, it was controllable, more intentional. At first, I felt like I was spying to be honest. But then I also realized, if what I was experiencing was on the mark and not just imagined, then this kind of insight could help me to better understand the behavior and reactions of others who are near me.

Clearing the inner junk is critical for being able to fine tune your inner senses. This is why doing the “work” not only helps you to be free from the distortive effects of your own repressed emotion, but it also can make you clearer as a seer or psychic. It makes your life more peaceful as you integrate the truth of who you really are in a concrete way in your inner sensory landscape. I have seen in myself how stored emotional material can get in the way of inner sensing work. I have also seen in another person that I knew very well who was constantly projecting her own mental illness onto me or others whenever she “read” them. The problem was how readily apparent she was drawing from her own inner index of past material but was unable to see how it was clouding her own inner vision. Another friend who is an established psychic with years of experience counseling others is someone who has worked doggedly most of her adult life to clear and cleanse herself of stored emotional material, and the result is that she can do cold readings that have an incredible level of accuracy. The only difference is one person has done the work and the other person still has a lot of work left to do. So let this be a lesson to you; do your work! One sure sign of what you are seeing is inner material being projected onto the other person is that fear is often involved. When I felt my child I didn’t feel fear, I simply experienced something on a visceral level but I can’t say that “I” was the one feeling it. I was sensing it, yes, but I knew it didn’t originate with me….and that is, I think, the small but significant difference. Mind the gap.

So did weed make me more psychic? Did it open part of my mind in a way that it helped to catalyze this new shift into awareness? Possibly. I find myself having to admit that I will have to conduct a few more controlled experiments first to see if I can more completely confirm what it is exactly that has ben taking place. For all I know this might be something specific to me, but then again, it might not be. I think it is worth taking a look at, especially given how after decades of negative press about marijuana the results are showing that instead of being dangerous, that it has medicinal qualities and for this person, it is a great sleep aid. Much better than taking some complex pharmaceutical compound that might leave you with a host of undesirable side effects.

I’m not rushing out to buy and use. I am, however, quite keen now on seeing what else it might suggest to my consciousness as directions to go. Sometimes a compound in a substance will act like a trap door in our consciousness which we can then go back without the compound in us and recreate through our own native chemistry. How? We meditate on the state that the substance produced in us originally. Does that sound strange? Turns out, people describe how they can recall the states experienced with psychedelics in such a way that they don’t have to actually take the drug again in order to produces its effects in consciousness. THIS is how the plants can help us. We can recreate their effects in our bodies and consciousness if we simply focus on them and remember their effect so clearly that the body itself produces the effect that we are thinking about (which the body is expert at doing). It is amazing when you think about it: if you focus on feeling a certain way, your brain will see this and then your body will begin putting out the chemistry for the state you are imagining.

So? I guess my views on using substances has changed. There is nothing wrong with using them if you understand what you are going into. Psychedelics have been known to help people perform some of the same “exorcisms” of emotional material as kundalini does. There have been a lot of recent studies in this area that involve the use of magic mushrooms that have had some very amazing results for those involved in the studies who took the mushrooms, and were more positive in result than other drugs that are legal to use which can produce many undesirable side effects. That isn’t to say a psychedelic wont produce some intense experiences for the person, the difference is that often when faced with a negative experience, the issue is often being brought up to be healed. Just noticing and seeing that emotion fully for the first time can be enough to break the bonds it has in our subconscious. Ergo, it can be, however hard, a path to authentic healing. And no, it isn’t for everyone.

Absent the drug effects, it seems that all of the same requirements are the same: face the fear or the emotion, see it for what it is, let it play through you but remain dispassionate in relation to it (don’t grab back at the emotion in order to keep it) and it just goes “poof” and is gone forever. Ayahuasca does the same with a lot of vomiting and being led to facing old repressed emotions and fears in order to overcome them. DMT seems to offer some emotional release effects as well. But I think at what point do these things become crutches? No one will know except you. As for me, I am now a little more curious than before and is an old dog who is learning some new tricks.

I have been having another bout of information overload lately, with material floating in on the ether.

This began while studying the link between awakening, the brain, electrical conductivity in the body, and how this affects consciousness and how the very low-level electrical potential that the body produces as behaving as a transceiver for information that is beyond the body.

It is a simple concept, which is that if the universe is intelligent (see both the ancients and the quantum physicists), then this intelligence is likely to be energetic in nature. If our own bodies are energetic at the signal processing level where the brain is concerned, it stands to reason that what we call psi ability is the shift that can take place when someone becomes more psychic. Most people are born with these gifts, but as we evolve, methods have been developed that are allowing people to tap into their latent potentials, all with some pretty profound results.

When awakening takes hold, there is evidence to suggest that the “latent” aspect of kundalini may in fact lie in what happens when the right and left hemispheres are able to come into a more direct alignment without the left brain serving as a “brake” against the right brain. I had suspected that what I had been feeling with a masculine and feminine quality in consciousness “rising” upward through my body was in some way tied to what I had been doing in meditation, effectively “freeing” the brain to be in greater balance with itself. Later, I would find research that revealed that this actually happens, which is to say that we appear to be left brain dominant at least as far as higher order processes go (like enlightenment). The work of Jill Bolte Taylor in her TED Talk and her book “A Stroke Of Insight” reveals the same support for where nirvana resides at the neurological level (which she identified at being in the right brain). If this is correct, then when many who have awakening experience to some extent or another an increase in psi ability, it may be that psi is linked to the right brain, or to what both hemispheres do when they are allowed to play together in a more natural fashion. But I ask one more question based on my review of some recent material I have been getting lately which is this: when this new state comes online does it also enable our brains to properly process information that we are receiving beyond the physical senses and which may point to the universe as a kind of store house of information?

In the documentary Superhuman: The Invisible Made Visible, the journalists look into cases of psi ability and how it can be cultivated or taught.

In the documentary they demonstrate how individuals were able to cause objects suspended in sealed tubes with their minds. Dr. George Weissman, a theoretical physicist has been conducting experiments like this for years and has been able to both show and learn under what conditions a person can induce an object to move in these sealed containers. They took the experiment one step further by placing objects in a sealed container under vacuum where no movement should be possible and people were able to induce movement during their test period even from thousands of miles away. A baseline was created where there was no involvement from the test subject and then an hour long period where the test subject attempted to cause a thing strip of paper balanced over a needle, to move. The result was that the researchers were able to get results that were highly significant, with movement that could not be attributed to anything except the fact that a remote subject was moving the object with their mind. (1:15 minute mark)

The documentary showed how a group of children who, using blindfolds (special blinders that close off all visible light to the eyes) and had learned how to read books using nothing more than their inner sensing capabilities. The demonstrations were quite interesting. From there, they also show similar experiments with individuals trained to “see” blind with detecting shapes, colors, and objects. This project was developed by Nicola Farmer the founder of ICU Foundation in the U.K. She explains the method simply as teaching the children how to tap into the universal energies which they then learn to use for detecting objects without using their eyes but instead their inner eye sensory capability. (1:33 mark) This process involves having the children reach a bright light, and once this is done, the children are able to see all around them despite having special blindfolds (made of a compressible foam that seals off all light). i will point out that I encountered a brilliant white light during meditation, after which a lot began to change in my perception and experience. In Ogden Utah one group is teaching people how to use a technique called “vibravision” to detect colors of objects as well as to read what is written on them. Mike Zeleznick is the founder of Vibravision, MP USA. Here is a video detailing some of their results (it is a promo video meant to get you to want to sign up, so there is that, but these are real examples of what they are doing)

By awakening are we essentially tapping into this field naturally, without training to do so? What would happen if those of us who already have this advantage were to learn these methods? I know that in my own work, I began to spontaneously remote view locations thousands of miles away from me, locations I knew nothing about yet had a very high rate of correct impressions (in the 80-95% range!). While the Hindu say not to pay much attention to these abilities, in an age of deceit and misinformation, skill sets like these could serve to keep our leaders honest. The one most important prerequisite: keeping the mind completely blank. There is no trying, no doing, it is instead by way of a different method, one where it feels as though one is receiving through a completely blank screen of the mind without any need or desire to color the results. If you have any bias or belief about what you are going to find, it will completely twist your results. See? Even the process itself pushes you to be completely honest. This process also requires “doing the inner work” necessary in order to be clear from any competing material that might sway results.

I think that this field is fascinating and points to our true potential, largely untapped, for understanding the nature of consciousness and who we really are beyond just the body.

Thanks for taking a moment to give this a read. If you liked it, let me know!

There is one thing I have learned from my years of studying psi ability and it is this: belief trumps ability.

If you don’t think you can, you wont.

If you can suspend that belief, or clear it out, then you can.

I am a Westerner. I don’t buy into the idea that there is anything inherently wrong with psi ability. In the East they often waive their hands saying, “Don’t pay attention to those things, they represent a cul-de-sac in the spiritual journey.” Indeed, this can be true, but this is not an absolute. If you can avoid allowing these inner senses from causing the ego to become inflated, there is little cause for concern. Keep up your good work on yourself. A sense is a sense. Just because we have as a race tuned out our native psi ability does not mean there is anything inherently wrong with them. They are not some evil ghostly thing, child of the “occult.” Whether saint or sinner, people have used them down through time. It’s just that when “we” use them, it is a good thing but when “they” (the “other”) it’s not. There is an important side to these inner abilities that bears repeating, though.

Psi ability is a product of consciousness. How you use your consciousness makes the difference between good results with your inner abilities and getting misses. It can be said that there is little worse than when you are convinced that your psi ability is real and always on the mark. That, my dear friends, is a belief. Psi ability can be subject to your emotions, your biases and beliefs, forming effectively a kind of lens through which you see. These can blind you and also distort information. What I am going to propose to you, based on years of experience, is that they work best when you completely empty your mind and do not allow your inner mind to try and fiddle with the results.

Very recently I did a remote viewing exercise. I have been growing my followers on social media and I have been doing this in a pretty aggressive way as of late. As a result of this, I never know from one day to the next what my number of followers is at. I hadn’t checked this stat in almost two weeks. I have had days where I have grown followers by anywhere from 24 to 40 people in one day. I am just not at a point where I am even keeping track at this point. I have been busy getting out orders for the Valentine’s Day “holiday” too, and realized that maybe now would be a good time to remote view my current number. I have done similar experiments with items that I had no way of knowing, and I realized I hadn’t checked it in a long enough while that this would be a good target. While I knew that my followers were a little over 4k on social media, that was all I knew. Could I get it right?

I sat down and calmed my mind. I let my mind go blank. Numbers began showing up in my mind. As I watched, those numbers kept changing. It was almost like some part of my mind was trying to get it, but some other part wanted a certain result, like a child in a toy store looking at all of the red wagons, each one a little different form the other, “Oh, I want this one…..no….maybe this one! Oh wait! I want this one!!” So the numbers ping-ponged around in my head for a bit. I realized that some part of me was trying to choose something. That was the problem, though. Some part of my mind seemed to be running the show here and wanted to find a number that felt right. I wasn’t so sure that part of me really knew what was right. But wait. I know that this has nothing at all to do with what I think is the right number or result. When I get these kinds of things, they come without any sense within me of “Oh yes, this one feels right…” It just comes. It is just very straightforward. Usually. And to be clear, I don’t always get hits. I do, though, try to learn from my misses.

The results were all over the place and so I calmed my mind and asked for all of this activity to cease in my head. Then the numbers settled down and I had one number. Was it right? I jotted the number down and then went to my stats. I wrote down 4,537. The stats read 4,530. Two weeks ago my followers were around 4,300-ish. I was not hitting the bullseye, but I got it very close. Yes, two weeks ago I knew I have about 4,300-ish followers….so the question in your mind may be “wasn’t that just a very good guess?” It may very well be, in truth. The only way to know is to continue to gather information, to do similar kinds of tests over and over in order to gather more data. Yes, you can have a “lucky guess” and so this is why I advocate for gathering more and more information because as the data piles us you can have a much better view of what is at work. If I got correct “guesses” half the time, that isn’t as impressive as getting them 72% of the time with thirty attempts at the same type of experiment. I agree, it can be doubtful at first about whether this is chance or something more. So for this particular attempt, I will be doing this more when I can and when I know I don’t know my follower number (when I have not checked in about two weeks, which is more than enough time for my follower base to grow beyond the numbers when I last checked).

The mind can get in the way of the inner senses. You can get parts right and other parts wrong. I have over the years paid attention to people who have considered themselves psychic and watched what they told me that they were picking up about me. To do this requires me to be very honest, because after all, they could be seeing something that I myself cannot or will not see about myself (beliefs and inner bias about myself at work). What I find so useful about this exercise is how it can teach me a lot about how we can distort what may well be a clear stream of information. What gets distorted in these cases is always something that has to do with the person doing the sensing and their own inner story. They are in essence picking up things form within themselves and adding it in. It is also just as helpful to see what they get right, too. So when I do this inner sensing work it helps me to be aware of how my own blindsides or beliefs that I might have about a given target or scan could influence the outcome. I have also found that when I have given them feedback on what they got wrong, I tended to come up against resistance, which is another sign that this is an inner dialog that the person doing the “reading” has within them. I have only met one gifted psychic who has been largely without these issues, and she was born with these gifts and describes how she lacks the basic filters most people do (which is a double-edged sword for her).

Doing this work is very helpful when you can be completely blind on the target. You might know a person, so trying to delve into what you think they are going through might be littered with minefields for you because you think that you know them and you could be inserting narratives that just don’t fit. So much of this can be subject to more than what is real as it is our own take on how we think we know that person. That is the minefield, you see. i remember one person who used to day “Energy doesn’t lie” and I had to chuckle as I heard a narrative that literally had nothing to do with me when that person claimed to be reading me. No, energy doesn’t lie when you are being completely clear. If you aren’t, you can very easily be reading from your own inner script and it could have little to nothing to do with the “other.” However, if you take someone that you know but do something like seeing exactly what they are doing at a given moment in time (subject to telling yourself that you don’t want to be able to see anything that might be private for example) then something like this would be the best way to test your ability. You sit down and all of a sudden the first thing that comes is your friend is sitting in a chair with a lamp on a small table and they have a book in their lap and they have a cup of something hot…..tea, not coffee….in their hand. You see them turn their head and as they do so you see the person that is speaking to them. You take note of this and you note the clothes they are wearing. Then what you have is a very good way of testing your ability because by noting the time you can contact them soon after and ask them if they would take part in your experiment. You can have an easy way to then hone in on what details you got right and which ones you might not have gotten correct. So far in tests with civilians, it has been found that anyone can do this with varying degrees of results.

A number of years ago I discovered my remote viewing ability when I began getting very vivid images of the place where someone I knew, but whom I have never met (and had only known for a short while and only tangentially on an online forum). I kept getting very clear impressions with a great deal of detail and specificity. I contacted this person privately and asked if she wanted to take part in an experiment where I would provide her with the impressions that I had and she would tell me whether I had hit the bullseye or not. Out of 24 distinct details, all but two were completely correct. The remaining two were partially correct. I had viewed that her door in the hallway had one more door beyond it, placing her at the end of the hallway. She explained that there was one more door beyond her door but that door was in the center of the hallways because it was the door to the stairwell. The kitchen that I knew existed but which I could not see visually, was in fact a kitchen that most people who entered her apartment would not be able to see because of how it was hidden from view. I was incorrect in placing the kitchen but partially correct in the notion that it was hard to see. I will emphasize that when it comes to remote viewing it is known that anyone can do this as long as you do your experiments blind (everything about the target is unknown to you). The less you know about the target the better so your own mind does not try to interpret or “fiddle” with what is coming through to you. Additionally, remote viewing my leave you cold. it might be a different way of approaching this kind of work might suite you better. You might go about it a very different way, and the thing is, just as consciousness is itself unlimited, so too are the ways that you approach this type of work. Maybe you need to surround yourself with white light first, or you might need to listen to music or maybe you need just the right scent wafting through the air. Use all of the things that you feel helps you to get there, and once there, don’t stress over it and don’t second guess yourself. You can see when you second guessed yourself, you can also see when a later impression might have been the more correct one. You can learn a lot about how your own mind works when doing this type of exercise. For one person it may not always be the first impression because maybe that person’s mind might still be ping-ponging around even in the midst of the exercise. Another person might be able to calm right down very quickly, get the right answer, but then second-guess themselves because the impression came so fast. The best way to know is to experiment to see how you operate in a moment like this. And to be clear, stressing over whether you are right or wrong can cause you problems (if you are anything like me). It helps to treat this so you have nothing invested, you are just playing and having fun. Athletes also find that they perform the best when they lay aside their stressors and allow themselves to just “get in the zone.” It is a very natural unencumbered state. The good news is that a little meditation can help with a mind that is “encumbered.”

I used to test my ability like this by viewing the pressure gauge on my propane tank. I know that this sounds weird to do but her me out. The tank was located some distance away from the building and the pressure gauge will slowly go down on the “volume” side of the tank, which is the only part that changes. I didn’t see the gauge on a daily basis, only when I would go out to look. It was always a moving number. The gauge could also go up in warmer weather, not just down as the volume dropped, which was a wild card that made guessing the gauge position difficult. It is very hard for me to guess where this volume gauge is exactly. What I want to do is not guess, but actually see right where the gauge is. When I did this the first time, I saw the image of the gauge and I saw in my mind the needle on it going wildly from one range on the gauge to another. I just lay there, eyes closed, and waited for the needle to stop going all over the place. I suspected that this was my mind trying to insert a guess. I didn’t want to guess, I wanted to accurately view it form a distance. Finally, the needle came to rest. I noted where it was, and the next day I went out to my tank with my written results in hand. I found that I was just a couple of pounds of pressure off from what it actually read. What is important here is that when the tank is full, the tank has many hundreds of pounds of pressure, indicating the volume of the tank, and this changes slowly over time until the tank is empty or near empty. It had been weeks since the tank had been filled. I found that by letting my mind go blank and stop my impulse at trying to grab for a result, I would tend to get very accurate results.

Another test that I did was I would take a book, open it so that it would open away from me, then lay it on a shelf with the book open but pointing down so I couldn’t see the page it was open to. I would then attempt to remote view the page number. You can do lots of tests like this to see where you get it right and where you get it wrong. A deck of cards can also be a good way to test yourself, too. Sometimes, I find that I don’t do as well with a target I don’t have a connection to, so a deck of cards often doesn’t work well for me for some reason, but I have been amazingly good at seeing details of where a person I know lives who I have never visited, for example. Pay attention to what you get right but also assess what you also got wrong. After a series of efforts you can begin to see what details you are better at getting and the ones you might have a “blind side” about. Those details are a sign for what you need to refine later. I got my follower number very close, but there is still work for me to do. I need to work more on clearing my mind even more. It might help me to spend more time quieting my mind and not letting additional material to intrude (I was a little focused on needing to get into the studio earlier so my mind was not at a dead stop). You can also try to read a person and then ask them to asses whether what you picked up on was a hit or a miss. Pay attention to both and also bear in mind it is possible you might have picked up on something that they are themselves not aware of. But it is also just as possible that this could have been a miss on your part. The trick is in finding out which it is. Often time will tell.

How we feel, what we think, our beliefs, all can become unrealized mitigators in our psi work. What works best is when you can successfully lay aside your filters when you do this work. Having a way to test your results also is important. Consciousness itself is the portal through which this sensing flows, but consciousness can be compromised with what we think, prefer, or believe about the target. So it is important to be as clear and as blank as you can be. This takes work because while doing this work is incredibly simple, it can be too simple for our minds to accept as the real deal. When clear psi results come they can often come with this feeling of, “Oh it can be that, that came through too fast…” Often, though, you can be right on target. We second guess ourselves, too. Don’t. Just sense and see whether you were on the mark. If you got something wrong, maybe only a cluster of items, think about how you can do better next time. Perhaps you saw our friend in my earlier example sitting there with tea but she wasn’t actually speaking to a male friend. She might, though, say, “I was thinking about my friend Ted and was thinking of calling him to tell him something I had been thinking about while I was reading my book.” Sometimes you can get parts of the truth. So often we will glom onto a result and decide it is the right one and go no further, but I would suggest that you keep at it and step back after your first dive in and try another view….and another. The trick here is not to prejudge what you are seeing or use your mind to change what you are seeing.

The method is to let your mind go completely blank and think of your mind as a projection screen upon which images will just come. Don’t try to make up images. You can sometimes feel when you are the one doing this. Focus on how it feels when you do this and at the same time, with enough practice, you can begin to associate your hits from your misses. It is just as important to pick up on how you feel when you get a hit as how you feel when you get a miss. It might take repeated attempts in order to focus on your mind state to determine the difference between the two. You can, though, do this, it just takes repeated efforts so you can stay away from the feeling states that wind up muddying the waters for you.

The best state is feeling nothing and not letting the stuff from your day to intrude. When I say “feeling nothing” I mean to be as blank or clear in your feelings as you are with your thoughts. Feelings are as potent as thoughts, and they can be equal opportunity “distorters” for our experience in the vast realm that is our field of consciousness. There is nothing wrong with feeling a sense of excitement, but be mindful of the state of mind that you go into when you do this work. When I have gotten the best results they have always come when I have not created any expectation in my mind for what the result will be. Being able to cultivate this “open-mindedness” is crucial I think for greater success going forward. Edgar Cayce explained that when he read the akashic records during his thousands of readings while he was alive, he explained that, “anyone can do what I do.” He then said something very telling. He said that he did it by going forward without any expectation of an outcome. He kept his own thoughts and feelings out of his work. The more that you do this work, the more it has a way of showing you your own biases or beliefs, so this kind of work has been known to help a person improve along spiritual lines as well as learning the type of control over thought and feeling that is required. I also want to emphasize that once you get into these states necessary for these abilities to come forward, you will likely feel all sorts of things, most of them will be like joy, excitement, wonder, perhaps even awe. Going into them, you want to have no expectation but once you are in you may well feel a stream of something moving through you that feels….more than just your localized self. Feel that stuff. But going into it, try to be neutral and quiet. In a very real sense you are changing or shifting channels in your mind and consciousness and some of them may be new “channels” to you at first, so being able to observe quietly how you go there can be helpful for next time. All of this advice is based on my own experience, so your mileage may vary in terms of what it is that gets you there or keeps you there. I am always interested in your own experience and what worked for you (so let me know in the comments).

I hope this helps you because becoming aware of your own inner superpower can help you to become more comfortable and aware of who you are and your capabilities as a being here on the planet. And who knows, you might just be able to help those you love.

Until next time,

Keep it Light.

This past week the man who is the self-described skeptic of all things paranormal died. James Randi has made his stock in trade seeking to debunk psychics and anyone who made claims of psychic abilities. Unfortunately, there are those who have sought to hoodwink the public for just such reasons in the field of the paranormal. However, this itself does not mean that the field of psychical research is somehow invalid or that psi ability does not exist. To say that someone who sought to defraud the public in this arena means that the whole field is itself suspect is a broad leap in the wrong direction. Just a few weeks ago there was a flap about a scientific researcher who, as it turned out, had falsified his data in a study. This though didn’t suddenly shake our confidence in science as a whole or put an end to our inquiry into how the world works.

Randi, though, has gone one further in his quest; he has used language that shows that he finds any notion or mention of the paranormal to be hogwash. This is very different than saying that you think it is unlikely but that you remain open to anything being possible. The difference between these two approaches is the difference between honest inquiry and bias. One seeks the facts and the other isn’t really interested in knowing them.

I first saw Randi during my college days when he came to speak at my college in the 1980’s. While on the one hand he has been able to uncover hoaxes in the past, something very interesting took hold in the man that drove him on a crusade to paint the world with a broad brush of skepticism. He took his debunking to a whole new level through his work with CSICOP (Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal) and later with his foundation JREF (James Randi Educational Foundation). I will note that CSICOP untethered itself from Randi after a time because of his level of zeal in seeking to debunk instead of honestly inquiring.

Randi famously set up a million dollar prize for anyone who could provide proof of the paranormal. This became a skeptics rallying cry of sorts where Randi was able to say how no one to date had ever been able to claim the prize. It seems reasonable on the surface, but what most people don’t know is how unscientific his prize was. The prize and its particulars denied important scientific principles that are regularly employed in the study of any phenomenon, be they atomic structures in physics or how glutamine is processed in the body of deer in winter habitats near the arctic ranges in North America. The prize was disingenuous from the start, it turns out. More on this in a moment.

What Randi did was to use his prize as a way of bolstering his belief in the absence of psi phenomenon and to forward his own agenda about the field as a whole. Randi was able, in his own mind, to lay the issue to rest because, after all, no one who had sought to claim his prize had ever been able to do so. Randi used this fact to great advantage, but he did us all a great disservice in the process.

The protocols that every individual seeking to prove their abilities to his august board of inquisitors required that each participant had to agree to a test that required 100% accuracy in results. Randi, who has been questioned about this fact in the past, has explained that he has every right to require this as part of efforts at claiming the prize money. He has explained that what he was after was undeniable proof, and his requirement would require every person coming to him to provide that level of proof.

In science, in any effort to create tests which are repeated many times in the process of gathering data about any kind of phenomenon, it is universally understood that in our world we have something that we know commonly as variability. This is a principle that is a cornerstone element in science and in the gathering of data.

A simple illumination of this principle of the scientific method is contained within a talk that my high school Chemistry teacher gave to us when we began our study in his class.

My teacher explained to us that when studying anything in the world, we gather data and then we examine and study that data for clues that often help us to understand the phenomenon being studied. He described an example of a canon placed before a flat plain of grass with no rocks and carefully tilled ground in order to make the ground consistent in density throughout so the falling canon balls would land in a more or less consistent way, a level playing field if you will.

This canon would have both canon balls and charges to propel a hundred carefully milled balls forward onto the grassy flat plain in front of it. Great care was taken to make sure that every ball was precisely the same size and weight. Further, the charges would have been carefully weighed out and made from a single batch of gunpowder. Every charge was packed in precisely the same manner as the one before it and the canon balls were shot from the canon and where the balls landed were noted as the way that they rolled or did not roll.

Our Chemistry teacher went on to explain that the researchers would then measure where each ball landed, noting their location by placing their location on a graph to better see or relate to the data collected.

Our teacher said that what normally happens is there would be a trend line that would show that most canon balls would have landed within a few feet of one another. Others would be further away from this trend line, and a few would appear to be errant because of how far they would fall away from the norm. All of the results were considered important because even the errant canon balls had something to say about the use of a canon and the process employed.

Our instructor on that day made a graph on the chalk board and showed how these canon balls and their placement would appear on that graph. This graph looked a bit like a shotgun blast aimed at a large paper target. You would see a center where most of the pellets from the shotgun landed, but there would always be a kind of “scattershot” effect that would happen too. In fact, he said, this was expected. The important thing, he went on to explain, were the trend lines and what those trends revealed. There would always be variability in results.

Most students in science and math fields are required to study statistics in order to be better at gathering and studying data sets. What we know is that some things that we study fall precisely on the average or median but we also know that there are those data points that do not. This is a common issue in every branch of science. What Randi has required in seeking to challenge all comers is the equivalent of expecting all of the canon balls shot across our field to all land one atop the other in a neat pile, the neater the better. I think you can see the problem here. While Randi could require this of his participants, after all it is his money, it still does not make what he did scientific.

It bears mentioning that Randi is a magician who used his knowledge of illusion to crack how some people may have been duping the public with fraudulent displays of paranormal ability using illusions in order to appear psychic in some way. Randi has taken this avocation to an extreme with his prize and has done something that has corrupted the very meaning of honest scientific inquiry. Most people, however, don’t know how his prize has little to do with science and has everything to do with propaganda. While those who remain in the skeptical camp will feel bolstered by what Randi has done, it does all of us here a great disservice in the interest of science. What Randi has done was to push an agenda that many others of like mind and belief glom onto and call their own. Truth dies in such places, however.

While Randi has been involved in examining claims of the paranormal, he actually has no scientific credentials, and while some might forgive him for how he has set up his prize, Randi in his life was on a crusade to deny the existence of phenomenon that some scientists have sought to study in a scientifically efficacious manner in order to better understand the world that we live in.

There is a lot on offer here in such honest and open study because it could help us to understand the very nature of consciousness as well as reality and how our universe works. If we can prove with a reasonable degree of certainty that something like nonlocality in consciousness exists, for example, it could help us to revise the notion that materialistic science has had where, in the words of James Alfred Whitehead, “the atoms blindly run.” Such a discovery would have far reaching implications in our understanding of a host of issues having everything to do with how our world works. We wont get there as long as there is this staunch resistance to such a possibility, however. We must forever remain open and ready to explore what today might appear as unlikely, as it often does occur.

I will remind my readers that it was as recently as 1920 that astronomers considered that the Milky Way was the only structure like it in the cosmos. At that time, we had no proof that there were any galaxies beyond our own. Since scientists remained open to the idea that there might be more to our cosmos than what their current experiments and observations revealed to them at the time, they went on to develop more powerful methods for peering into the cosmos. A direct result of this openness and curiosity was that they found that the universe was in fact littered with structures just like our own Milky Way. What appeared to be stars one moment became gallaxies which were composed of billions of stars.

Well before the 1920’s, for example, there were people who believed that the earth was flat. We know now that this is not true and the reason why we know that they are not is because scientists pushed beyond the limits of technology and belief in order to test and observe what could be new possibilities.

Like Randi, there are those who still believe that the earth is flat and that we never went to the moon. In fact, these people will go to extraordinary lengths to try and dismiss any evidence to the contrary. While we might chuckle at people who still believe that the world is flat, if you have enough of these people, their presence and influence in the world can have a powerful dampening effect on true scientific inquiry.

I will add my own observations here for your consideration. During my life I have had numerous instances of precognition which happened under very specific circumstances and were repeated many times over four decades. I was able to see how dreams that I had on a semiregular basis had an uncanny habit of coming true. These were not vague scenarios but were filled with very specific sets of details. The result of these regular experiences was that it piqued my curiosity about how it might be that we could be able under certain circumstances know events before they happened. I also had later in life experiences related to what is commonly called remote viewing in which I was able to view a target that was located 1500 miles from my location, one in which I knew nothing about, and had never visited nor was told anything about. In this particular case, I began getting vivid impressions of the home of someone that was part of an online forum that I was a member of some years ago. When I decided to approach the person if she would like to participate in a little experiment to see how accurate my impressions were, she was willing to engage with me. What I found was that of the 24 distinct details that I saw, I got all but two correct. The remaining two were partially correct. I went on to do several more experiments of this same type with other people whose homes I knew nothing about and had never been there in person (and neither did these people talk about their homes online—I wanted to do this blind). In those cases, I had between an 80 and 90 percent accuracy rate of details described.

To let you know the level of detail that was involved in the case of my first remote viewing experience, I was able to see that I had to turn left out of an elevator into a hallway with charcoal grey carpet which had small strands of red, blue, gold, and green in it. I was able to see that the hallway had sconces on the wall with no overhead lighting and that the sconces were “V” shaped. I saw the color of paint on the walls of the hallway. I was able to determine which door in the hallway led to this person’s apartment. I described the layout of the apartment accurately including the size of windows and the type of window (an old casement style) which were painted black along the frame. I was able to see where the bedrooms were located, including the bathroom as well as which bedroom was being used and a bedroom that looked like it had been used in the past but was now being used as an office (it had a bedframe still in the bedroom). These were not vague details, but very specific ones.

This level of detail was emblematic of my remote viewing experiments at the time, and I think that what I was able to see was that whatever this was that I was able to do, it did not involve my five senses. It hinted also at the nonlocal nature of consciousness as well, which points also to the possibility that what we think of as consciousness is not dependent on the physical body and it’s five senses.

Where skeptics come in at this point is that they will often say, “Perhaps you had read of descriptions that these people published in the online community that you forgot about but still retained in memory and used as the substance of your remote viewing exercises.” The truth in all cases was that I knew nothing about the homes of each of the three people who I attempted to remote view. The first person was herself very private and had not said anything about her home. In the case of one person, I didn’t know where this person even lived in the country. I in fact chose targets after the first initial experience that I knew nothing about. It was, to my mind, worth the investigation. Results like these become statistically significant when they are being done blind without any access to prior information.

I will add that for many skeptics that I have known, they often report that they haven’t had any paranormal things happen to them. When further questioned, they will most often deny that their lack of personal experience has anything to do with this at all. This I think is telling and may be at the very root of their skepticism. While this is understandable as a human trait, it doesn’t exactly get us to where we need to be when it comes to understanding something more fully.

This isn’t really skepticism in this case, it is instead a belief based on limited experience that is taken up as a truth and then acts as a lens through which many skeptics view the world. Even when faced with proof to the contrary, they are just unable to go there: “I see that the world looks flat, basically, and even though others have taken photos from space, I do not believe those photos to be true or even real….they must have been faked somehow.” Thus the skeptic folds his or her arms and rests easy in what they believe to be the truth.

I will note that there are people today who still believe that the earth is flat when this has been proven demonstrably false. For my part, I have sought to conduct my own investigations with at least something resembling the scientific method. Sadly, this is where Randi has fallen down in his quest for all things skeptical.

Skepticism is important, however, because without it you can fall for an unacknowledged belief that something is a certain way when it may in fact not be. In the case of Randi and others like him, it is belief masquerading as skepticism. This is what is termed cynical skepticism, and whenever you see this in operation you will find denial and hurdle after hurdle built into the belief systems of people who remain unmoved. For myself, I do not care whether a person is cynically skeptical. I do, however, care when that cynical view is pressed onto the world stage in a manner where it is used to breed more believers instead of investigating the subject honestly and with integrity.

The difference for me is that I didn’t grow up believing in precognition or remote viewing. I came to it through direct experience and explored it in an open minded way. These were things that happened to me and I had no idea what was behind them at the time. Only after decades of these experiences did I begin to form the idea that there might be something to all of this. Am I believer? I don’t have that luxury, and I now know the pitfalls that exist in such a way of conducting my life. I am open, however, but this is not the same as holding a belief in an unconscious way. I have always asked since I was young why believe when you can know? One option involves no real inquiry while the other demands it.

To put a finer point on what Randi has done, take this quote from Skeptical About Skeptics site which you can find HERE:

“Randi is not afraid to attack scientists who take an interest in subjects such as telepathy; for instance, Brian Josephson, a Professor of Physics at Cambridge University. In 2001, on a BBC Radio program about Josephson’s interest in possible connections between quantum physics and consciousness, Randi said, “I think it is the refuge of scoundrels in many aspects for them to turn to something like quantum physics.” Josephson has a Nobel Prize in quantum physics. Randi has no scientific credentials.”

On his own website, Randi, through his foundation called JREF (James Randi Educational Foundation), he describes and explains the process required when seeking to be tested for his million dollar prize. This is taken from Michael Prescott’s Blog because the details of the prize have, after Randi’s death, been taken down. What this one section does, though, is to provide the reader with the flavor of much of the document (emphasis added). In section 2.3…

There are some claims that are far too implausible to warrant any serious examination, such as the “Breatharian” claims in which the applicant states that he can survive without food or water. Science conclusively tells us all we need to know about such matters, and the JREF feels no obligation to engage applicants in such delusions….

Later, in his own FAQ Randi says this about something that I have just mentioned (emphasis added):

Of course, when confronted with a particularly incredible claim like “remote viewing” (the current version of “clairvoyance”) we can easily stop short and ask ourselves just why we are involved with such obvious nonsense.

Obvious indeed. That is itself not a good enough reason to dismiss something out of hand. There is a lot that was out of hand when it came to Randi and his views, sadly. And yet, many will tout him as the defender of skeptics everywhere. His belief is surrounded by a mote of bluff and bluster which only looks on the surface as common sense. I ask: whose sense are we talking about?

Finally, and perhaps most damning is Rupert Sheldrake’s own experience with Randi:

It is obvious that I do not seek to praise Randi, but to bury him. Let’s let his story rest in the dust as we take up eager and open minds with an adherence to results and statistical analysis as the way forward.

Lastly, I leave you with a TED talk by Russel Targ, a noted psi researcher who did work with the C.I.A. in remote viewing programs over many years. It bears mentioning that the board members of TED chose to censure Targ’s talk by banning his video from their platform. We soldier on.

I see people who write about “forecasts” for energy and development within “the collective.” While I have been able to read energy of people and locations long before awakening came along, I have tended to feel like these “collective ideas” have generally missed the mark for the simple fact (most likely) that they are describing their experience instead of actually reading the collective. I say this because if the assessments made are to be correct, then the writing would apply to me since I am part of that collective. Most often these do not apply to me at all and seem much more likely to be one person describing their present state of development and wanting it to apply to the rest of us so the label is put on it and off we go.

I contend that observable phenomenon is of vast importance when it comes to knowing whether one is accurate or not. I spent a year comparing my energy perceptions with another seer when I first began seeing auras in 1984. Many hundreds of times I would have my friend to read someone’s aura that I had already read to make sure that what we were seeing was “of a piece.” In 99% of all attempts, this was entirely accurate, which gave me a reasonable assurance that my inner senses weren’t just making it all up. This process was done in a blind fashion in order that the control did not know what my results had been moments before.

My instinct to do this has been born out over decades and has helped me to inderstand a phenomenon that can elude most researchers and casual observers. I have seen instances in my own experience where a person I once knew claimed to know what was going on with me and went on to describe vivid recollections and experiences which she was utterly convinced were dead-on accurate, citing the aphorism “energy doesn’t lie.” The only problem was the information she told me she knew about me was in some instances 100% inaccurate. I say “in some cases ” because there were some isolated instances where she got closer to the truth, but even then it was off by a significant amount. When I scanned what she was doing I got that she was not sufficiently clear of her own inner junk to be a clear enough chanbel through which to see the insides of things. This work takes lifetimes, and the number of truly gifted psychics is an illustration of just how few attain this on the earthly plane. Most, I suspect, attain this after leaving the cycle of reincarnation.

I have a friend who is one of these “clear windows” who realky can see things clearly without distorting the data. In this case, I have had hundreds of instances of being able to show how this psychic can literally pluck information out of the air accurately and consistently. And? When I scan her everytime I get this awareness of the sheer amount of time she has dedicated to honing her skills into “gifts” which appear to me as having emerged over many lifetimes. Her lifetime now is a remarkable example of how she has chosen to come in with little to no filters in place.

For myself, it has been helpful to see the contrast in these two people. Both do healing work, but in one case my friend works miracles on a daily basis for people. In the case of my misinterpreting friend, there is more evidence of turbulence, attracting clients with the same remaining issues that she has yet to resolve. One is clear, and one is not. One is at one end of the spectrum from the other. One is lijely just stepping into the waters of awareness whild the other gas been at it much longer. Through it all, being able to apply their perceptions to repeatable testing is important if we are ever to treat this as a valud field of experience. It also means sifting out the BS. In this case, it’s not enough to want to do it, you have to be able to do it without letting your own blinders get in the way. I for one have seen how easy it is for others to do this, so when I can have a way to gather independent information about the target I am reading, that is helpful (but only after doing it in as blind a fashion as as possible).

I have considered that what we call “the collective” may in fact be a relatively small group of people. Yes, you may be tapping into a group, but it may not be that big of a group you are tapping into. It helps to observe, search, and do some real world science. This might be hard to do in some cases, but I have found that if you need it bad enough, the data will come. It can even fall into your lap quite unexpectedly.

I have been traveling recently in my work, which took me to the Hawaiian islands of Oahu, Maui, and Kaua’i. Being there resulted in some very interesting outcomes in terms of getting in tpuch with a life I had on one of the islands as a very emotionally stuck man.

While there, I had the chance to read the energy on these unique islands. I found that there were correlations between the people and the land itself, which should surprise no one.

What was interesting was how the level of angst was pretty low. Again, we could all guess that. It’s interesting because you might expect it to be low, but not necessarily. On an island that is relatively small, concern could actually be much higher if you had a situation where you had flights from countries that had active outbreaks of this corona virus outpacing your own country (such as Japan or Korea, for example, which was happening in Hawaii state-wide when I was there). Things were feeling pretty calm despite what was happening in the rest of the country.

Then I returned to the East Coast and as I returned, a different feeling emerged altogether. Bear in mind that I had not been watching news or looming at forums during my time on the islands. I watched about twenty minutes of coverage iver the course of the week to stay up to daymte on numbers and whether it might be better for me to stay if tjings got worse. It wasn’t until I returned to the East Coast that I just felt different.

The feeling that I got in those first 48 hours was nearly impossible to cope with to be honest. Bear in mind, once I was home, I shopped quickly and stayed at home for a week. I wasn’t out and about. I only had a group conversatiin with friends moments ago on a conference text. Otherwise, I had been isolated.

During this time I felt an energy that was shaken with fear, and as I scanned the energy, it showed a large anount of energy clamped down in the heart center, then blocks in other areas to lesser degrees. So strange, I thought, because the heart is a center for compassion. The voice of my inner guidance spoke saying,

There is a lack of true compassion…the body of this group is wrestling with true compassion, some feel it, but others do not. Some are polarized…some closed in the heart but open in the root, some closed in the root but more open in the heart. There are strands of influences swimming through all of this.

I wondered if the level of crazy was actually happening. I wondered, and while writing this, I have seen comments on broadcasts such as a Bernie Sanders live stream with comments all eluding to incredible fear, angst, and anxiety. I dropped into the connected world to gauge what people have been feeling.

People have lost jobs. People are unsure about how they will pay their rent, or their power bills, or when the epidemic will pass so things can get back to normal. Yes…so there is an unusual amount of uncertainty and fear. I am getting it. It has closed down hearts, it has also had a corresponding root impact, too, related to survival and abundance. For the first time since FDR, it looks like Congress will pass sweeping social actions to put money (energy) into people’s hands, a surprising move given how Trump is so pro market and how much the country appears to have rejected the socialist philosophy of the Sanders campaign (which, by the way, is completely in line with being a “New Deal” democrat despite efforts to beand Sanders as somehow radical or communist. Now everyone is embracing the spirit of his policies. So curious an outcome.

It is hard feeling all of this, so I am left with how to deal with all of this at a personal level. It took me several days to work through it in order to not feel flattened by it.

If by chance you feel the collective in a similar way, these strands of feeling can trigger you pretty easily. It’s weird…anger, fear, all of this hard emotion. To cope with it, I bring up all the bliss I can from my root so that it joins in the heart. This has been the only thing that has helped me, which is essentially bliss. Just bliss, and an ability to stay on or in that bliss continually. Doing that has been the life saver. I have been oscilating in and out of it this past week but have been able to shelter back under it recently. For the great unwashed this bliss is an expansive energy of creativity not focused in creating and which also has an orgasmic component. My experience has been that this energy has been directly responsible for healing a slew of ills over the last dozen years, and makes for clearer eyes and calmer hearts when allowed in. I highly suggest giving it an opportunity to work. The only way I can feel this bliss un the face of such potential calamity is thrpugh surrender as well as not busying my mind with unknowns or with a desire to control outcomes. This shifts me away from fear and ibto bliss quite naturally. This has happened before, it will happen again. The soul remains immortal. Do what you can but align in a “right” way. The Polynesians call this “pono.” Deep down, it is our unner compass, our divine compass that transcends ordinary notions of right and wrong to strike to the deeper causes and truths that reveal right and “wrong.”

I think how those who do not know about bliss move from anxiety to calm using methods that distract them mrnrally and then emotionally as a result. Maybe they find something to keep their minds busy. We all have our ways of coping. I wish I could give everyone the gift of bliss-it isn’t that hard to find. Sometimes all it takes is a glance.

Amidst this, the odd notion arises: by witnessesing these states in groups here, can we begin to change our reality by being able to bring a whole other vibration to the moment? Or is this only a drop in the sea? Some would say yes, some would say no. Is it even a relevant question? Does it matter in the bigger picture? Does the universe set itself free to see how it will play out?

Maybe acts will be what do the heavy lifting, but our state of mind determines what those acts are. It may be acts of kindness to others from a distance may be the best way to lighten the load for all concerned.

My heart goes out to everyone, those touched and those not touched by this epidemic. This isn’t permanent, but it is also active. Each one of us is now, by remaining isolated, are throttling down the volume that this virus will have. For now, some areas have not yet seen the “peak” or apex of the epidemic. New York State and city anticipate the peak to have passed by April 2!st according to modelled projections. That number may be close or off depending on what is done between now and then.

So some facts from Governor Cuomo on covid:

Of 30,811 who tested positive in NY so far (as of 3:00 pm EST March 25)

12% have been hospitalized.

3% of those hospitalized gave been admitted to an ICU or intensive care unit.

These are small percentages, but can be big numbers because of our population. Knowing whether you are in a risk group is important. Then act accordingly by keeping isolated so you stay out of the growth vector of new cases. Stay at home, read books, watch movies, read blogs, write, take walks (yes you can!).

Hang in there everybody!
