Is it possible that the movement happening today of countless people awakening more or less in a spontaneous way without a teacher or a practice is related to an ancient Hopi prophecy having to do with what they describe as a shift from the fourth to the fifth world?  Could what we are seeing be explained by what the Hopi have been saying down through the centuries?

For those who are not familiar, the Hopi have had a prophetic tradition that has been handed down from one seer to another over many generations.  The prophecies, which they describe as warning posts along the way, have proven to be amazingly accurate in tracing the direction that we have been going since colonial times.  Unlike the Christian tradition, the Hopi tradition of prophecy does not make a prophecy as a certainty, but instead are meant as warnings.  Each prophecy will describe a step along the path of time as a way of saying, in essence, “If you see these events taking place, you know that you are following a path that could ultimately lead to trouble later on down the line.”  Hopi prophecy exists as a way of helping humanity to change course when we see these events coming to pass.  In the Hopi world view, nothing is cast in stone, we can change at any time. That being said, it seems that humanity has continued to follow along all of the warning posts that the Hopi have foretold long before the events ever came to pass.

In the Hopi tradition they foresaw the coming of the whites onto their land.  They described roads that would be as broad as rivers, they described a machine that would have “crazy motion” and its road would divide the land.  The whites would create these machines, they said.  Most everyone agrees that the descriptions given in the prophecy align very well with the steam engine.  They further prophecied the landing of the eagle on the moon, something that in fact took place.  the first words spoken when Apollo first landed on the moon was the radio signal, “Houston, the Eagle has landed.”  Along with these prophecies was a building made of mica that would be a place for many nations to meet.  The descriptions, the Hopi say, fit perfectly with the founding of the U.N. in their timeline of events.  More than this, though, the prophecies describe the coming of a day or age of Purification, a prophecy that is nearly universal with all nations of native peoples in North America.  This period would be the earth reacting to the pollution and wrong thinking that would be leading humanity to the brink of destruction of the environment as well as the species itself.  This would mark the transition into the fifth world.

It wasn’t until fairly recently (mid 1970’s) that anyone even knew about Hopi prophetic tradition.  Until the publishing of The Book Of The Hopi, few outside of the Hopi themselves even knew about it. This book described the rich cosmology of the Hopi and it explains their rich history of prophecy. The book also helps to explain why the elders felt it was of upmost importance that they finally make their tradition known to a wider audience.  You can read more about the book here:

The fourth world, the one that we are still in the Hopi say, is a world marked by the disconnection between the head and the heart. This vital connection, they explain, is what is needed in order for the race to survive on the planet. It plays a part in our evolution as a species.  The Hopi prophecies say that when the transition into the fifth world begins to get underway, there will be the reestablishment of the connection between the point on the crown of the head, which had been closed during the fourth world, and once this point opens, the crown will begin to reconnect with the heart in order to help human kind to integrate all aspects of the self and spirit into a more unified and more humanitarian version of ourselves.  The  point at the top of the head, which was called “Kopavi” will become known again to the people of the earth.  This will be one of the signs that the Purification time has begun as we enter into the fifth world.  Before this, a time of life being out of balance will be one sign that we are moving to this transition.  their term Koyaanisqatsi means “life out of balance.”  the purification is seen as a series of events most of which will be earth events that will be an effort on the part of the earthly ecosystem to right the imbalances that have been put into place mostly through human action. Many native leaders have explained over the last three decades that we are clearly in this cleansing or purification time.  While some native people will call it the “day of purification” it is generally understood that this will be a period of time that we will pass through.  Elders from other nations have said decades ago that this time will be marked by volcanic eruptions, disruptions in the climate, earthquakes, and other large scale events of an earthly nature.

Hopi elders have come forward at certain times to bring forward some of the prophecies which they kept from the public for important reasons.  In the last decade the Hopi elders have released a number of new prophecies when they have felt that the time was right for humanity to know about them.  In a more recent revelation, it was explained that the Hopi have long known about the existence of the Star People, the tribes of beings who are not of earth who were once here in our distant past and which communicated with the Hopi.  They explain that the Kachina are these people, and their prophecy tells of a day in the fifth world when the Blue Star Kachina will dance in the plaza of the Hopi.  The star nations would return.  In this time, it has been revealed, humans would have the capability to create machinery that would no longer pollute the earth but would be in harmony with it.  This would be in accord with the same kinds of technology that the Kachina have advocated for millenia. This was explained by Hopi elder Martin Gashweseoma in an interview at the Second Prophecy Rock.

The interview that deals specifically with the propecies dealing with the Purification time and what will begin to take place after the Purification are explained at about the 2:30 point in the video.  He moves to a second prophecy rock that describes what appears to be a building which has a device that will allow it to draw energy from the space around it.  What is so interesting about this very old stone is that in our current day certain people who have had access to secret files related to ET craft describe a device that is able to draw energy from the vacuum of space.  For as strange as this may sound, people like Steven Greer of the Disclosure Project and the Orion Project have explained that there are people within our own U.S. government who know about the existence of devices like this that could end our dependence on nuclear and fossil fuels.  No one is allowed to come forward because they suspect that this would be too disruptive for major players in the energy sector.  It would, however, be a saving grace for the planet.  Gashweseoma describes antenna that extend beyond this device. It was Tesla also who described how we could draw energy produced naturally by the earth to power all of our needs here on earth.  All it would take would be an antenna.  At the time his idea was shot down because the investor in his work did not want to sell antennas, he wanted to sell electricity instead.  For as far fetched as this sounds, we already have two concrete examples of this energy source existing.  The question is, is this connected to the same prophecy that Gashweseoma is discussing in the video?

With those who have awakened, feeling the rise of the kundalini energy piercing the crown chakra, it begs the question: are we seeing a fulfillment of a prophecy whereby those on earth will begin to reacquaint themselves with the opening in the head, said to connect human kind to the cosmos which they call the Kopavi? It is interesting how many in this group who have seen and understood the important connection between crown and heart centers as the way forward to heal from the history that has been stamped on us individually and en masse. It looks like in a natural and organic way, we are seeing a movement very much about learning how to reestablish this native but forgotten tie between our minds (head) and our humanity (hearts).

It may well be that the Hopi have had extraterrestrial encounters dating back many thousands of years.  In the shift from the third to the fourth world, the earth was covered with water, what we know to have been the ancient flood described in Judaic scripture as the flood of Noah. In this case the Hopi were assisted by beings which they called the Ant People.  They took the Hopi down into the earth into caverns where the Hopi stayed until it was safe to emerge again.  In every kiva it is custom to make a hole in the center of the floor to describe the route through which they made a safe return to the surface of the earth from the underground.  it is interesting because the Ant People are a dead ringer for the alien grey beings often described in abduction literature.  The Hopi are clear in saying that these were people, like us, but they looked like ants.  When you see the drawings in pictograph form on stone walls on Hopi land, it is hard to ignore the very real possibility that they were describing extraterrestrials.

The Hopi have explained that in their tradition, during the transition from one world to the next, they were always helped or guided in order to survive the earth changes that marked each of these major events down through time.  Since their tradition describes a giant flood, it may show how the memory of the Hopi in their stories is ancient.

So I ask: can the fact that so many are awakening today part of this global change that many suspect is now taking place?  Are we looking at traditions that foretold of the conditions that would make us ripe for the change that the Hopi have said would take place in our transition to another world?  I think that it is a tantalizing possibility, and if this is the case, it may help us to be more attentive to the process of awakening more fully, to continue with our work so that the pattern can be laid down energetically, but to also teach in whatever way we can to help raise awareness about awakening as an important element in our evolution as a species. Our future may in fact hinge upon that taking place.  Only we can determine the degree to which those on earth will become more aware of this as an important option in their own personal development.

As for myself, I have an important event in my early life that made me more aware of the prophecy of the Day of Cleansing or Purification Day.  I could not claim to have been unaware of the Day of Purification when I had a memory from another lifetime because I had read parts of the Book of the Hopi because my mother owned a copy of it.  But what happened to me in a series of memories that came as a rapid and vivid download, I experienced one man’s struggle to make sense of an event that happened to him in the mid 1800’s and was a series of memories that remained mysterious to me for decades after they came to me, which was when I was 18 years old. My own awakening experience was tied to these memories and I found out later that my own awakening helped to illuminate the meaning behind a vision that this past self had about events that were being foretold that would happen in a day in the future, a day when he would be reborn as a new person, a day when “the earth will be sick and in need of cleansing.”  It has been one reason for why I am writing this post for the simple reason that it has related so strongly in my own life.

because I am white in this lifetime, it was a question how I could access the information to make my own efforts relevant to the events as they are unfolding.  One, I have found that if I stopped trying so hard to figure it all out and go into a more surrendered state, the information planted in me would emerge like a seed sprouting.  Instead of working so hard to bring it forward, I just had to utilize a more feminine approach; to trust and to have faith in the miracle that we each are.  Instead of trying so hard to rationally understand it, to prepare the ground and work through the puzzles that it seemed to my mind to represent, I found that understanding was through a much less active approach.

This process is what is meant by the emergence of the divine feminine.  We are learning to balance our minds with our hearts.  We are learning to discover what everyone has as a part of their consciousness as represented by the two parts of our brains, the left and right, both perfect mirrors for the functions of what we describe as masculine and feminine traits.  We all have this.  The energy body also has the channels that links our cosmic awareness with the body, the brain, and the whole of our being.  The Hindu’s have perfectly mapped out this system of the three channels of energy, the Ida, Pengala, and the Shushumna (or central channel/nadi).  Together, these two outer channels will merge to create the third energy, which is our own cosmic consciousness and higher awareness.  This, I think, is exactly what the Hopi had in mind.

We are all rooted in history and we are also rooted in our present.  By letting go of the past we will each learn how to release the patterns in ourselves that hold us back at a level of awareness.  By going further ahead than anyone may have done so far, we will help to etch into the collective heart of humankind the dreams of how this is all accomplished.  By keeping away from the beliefs and using solid knowledge based on our own direct experience, we may be able to create a path forward balance in both knowledge and in compassion for how to be our very best as a species.  I have more work to do!  I suspect we all do.  Do what you can in the way that your own still voice tells you.

All My Best….

When awakening comes, the consciousness you awaken to is an awareness of the collective consciousness. Beautiful, joyful, and also with bitter and sad notes, too. It’s a group voice, this soul of the world.

Perhaps, if you are like me, you go down deep just to listen to those trillions who have lived, will live, and are alive now. This resurrection, this “rising” spoken of in early Christian documents such as Philip, gives a nod to the change or shift away from such a simplistic (and limited) way of seeing the world to one more nuanced, an awareness -a Witness- within time while being cognizant that all-time is accessible when consciousness is pitched to the right frequency. It’s less a single line, and more a radiation through all realities and worlds. This is known as the spacious present.

So going deep into it, I feel this inevitable shift happening in the collective that so often mirrors what happens when a block, or what my friend calls a “soul split” is healed. Do you notice what happens in the weeks or days before a block is healed? I notice there is all this stuff that comes up….it can make me feel sick sometimes…it can fill me with an awareness of a part of shadow that is getting ready to be healed, which always makes me feel yucky….I might even feel fear over it, I might feel edgy and even an edge of anger, all depending on the nature of the block. And then…. there comes the moment of grace where I accept it while the divine awareness within me forgives myself…a part that is not “apart.” It is redeemed.  This is where it transforms, in just such a place or state of being….it’s energetic polarity flips and it begins to be flow, not resistance. After that, it was as though it had never been. Poof. Just. Like. That!

It seems this is happening on a larger scale, and it’s been a long train coming. In greater earnest it’s been coming since around 2000. In truth, it’s a continuum with feet all through time, building up to the current day. As it does, as more light comes into some, there is this reaction by those still caught in the old paradigm. Its often similar to what I feel when all the junk gets stirred up…I remain calm, but most act out. In truth, it isn’t an orderly March out of shadow on an individual level, but it’s certainly gaining momentum. As it does, this reaction becomes increasingly more bizarre. The shadow is being driven upwards out of the collective. I don’t sense there is a great deal of awareness of this en mass.

Logic suggests that this will continue until something comes to a head. And then?  I can’t say. What choice is made will determine this. But amongst the apocalyptic philosophies or religions, they point to a greater deal of sanity world wide. In the Christian idea, it’s a thousand years of peace. In the Hopi cosmology, a shift from one world into another. Both are marked by upheaval.

The world does not end. Humans move forward. The end is the end of the old ways for at least a group who see the light. Rarely can a prophet see beyond the prophecy that they propound. And sometimes, cloaked in the syntax of dream (like John does for example), it’s hard to know just what the symbols mean.

For the Hopi and their tradition of startlingly accurate prophecies, they saw one group, a small one, keeping on an even keel while others stuck to a jagged line or path in the passage into the next age. But who knows. There have been people in every single generation who thought the end was near. Do we really know what this “end” will look like?

I know that for me, this is an ever-brilliant world whose petals open as ones awareness opens and the nuous, or knowing, comes. It was there all along and people have not seen it. In early Christian texts Jesus explains that the Kingdom has already come, and no one has seen it. That was about two thousand years ago.

It rests within you what it is that the world of humans will be. What have you been choosing at this time on the planet? I’d like as many awake that can come along. I do know, despite the nay-sayers, that it won’t be as simple of a dividing of the goats and sheep. Don’t be surprised if things don’t go down as the apocalyptic (= to suddenly reveal) visions have seemed to have pointed to. There might be a “new” earth, but this earth might simply be seen anew. It could be cleansed. It could be any number of things.

One parting word of caution though. The Hopi have only given prophecy as a way to avoid the bad outcomes. A prophecy was never meant in Christianity to be what inevitable. Nothing is. We can choose the higher path, which keeps us rooted to earth while our souls soar in sheer glory and grace.
We will have to see how things go.

Amongst the aboriginal peoples of this land there are prophecies about a time in the future when the earth would become sick and be in need of cleansing.  The prophecies are rich in details.  I  know that some may cast askance at the mention of prophecy.  We think how hard it would be for anyone to predict future events; there are just so many variables, right?  My experience has been that there does exist within us the ability to anticipate events with a great deal of accuracy.  Growing up I had many very specific dreams about events that unfolded just as they had been dreamed….a neighbor who many years ago gave birth to twins who I saw in my dream who were blonde, a boy and a girl, in their crib, born of parents with dark hair, a real kind of impossibility in so many ways as a predictable outcome.  And yet, not only did my neighbor become pregnant, she gave birth to twins.  These twins were both blonde, a joke that some made about who the parents really were since their father was as dark-haired as could be, and their mother a lovely auburn.  Or, the dream about the explosion from an industrial building over Russia that sent a radioactive plume of white material up into the upper atmosphere that spread and travelled towards Europe, raining down as radioactive snow….an event so severe that the locals were trucked out using cargo trains, packing the people into them just to get them out.  In the dream I saw a meter counting the number of people and the last count was over 60,000 souls.  Three weeks later we saw the same event unfolding on the news.  At the end of the news broadcast it was explained that the people were being moved using freight cars and that over 60,000 people had already been moved out of the area as the radioactive cloud menaced Europe, raining down as radioactive snow.  These are just two of many dreams that were precognitive.  I am familiar with how we can see what lies before us.  If you consider that there may be an as-yet understood ability within us that has to do with our ability to move through time in certain states of mind (which has no mass and thus breaks no laws about the whole issue with our supposed relativistic universe and the problem with carrying mass through the tunnel of time), then the possibility of moving through time becomes less woo-woo strangeness. And it is thus that other cultures like the Hopi, who have a long history as it relates to future events and predicting them with a great deal of accuracy.

The Hopi have long considered themselves the keepers of the balance of the earth.  It is something that they have taken on as a holy calling, these ancient people who have held true to the earth.  Their covenant with the creator has spoken of the need to remain here, to keep the balance so that the earth may not fall too far from the necessary balance.  Their experience has shown that the earth has had four major life-changing events that in the past has led to major extinctions of human life.  Each of these upsets have been called “worlds.”  We are currently in the Fifth world.  Theirs is a largely unwritten tradition, spoken the way songs are learned over the span of a life.  These stories serve as sign-posts of where we are in our progression through time, helping us to know how close we are to another major life-changing event in our world.  The Hopi have described the coming of the Whites, the building of roads “the size of rivers,” as well as the coming of the train, the tellegraph, and the lunar landing.  All of these insights have sought to reveal to them, and us, where we are.  Amongst the Hopi, though, they explain that the purpose of prophecy is not to say what WILL happen, but what WILL happen if we do not change our course in the present time line that we are in.  Because, you see, the Hopi know that what they have seen in their visions and dreams that foretell the future, is just an effort at helping us to navigate to the best outcome.  This is fundamentally different from the Judeo-Christian outlook that is more or less locked into one singular outcome.  The only problem with this way of dealing with life is that…..regardless of what humanity has done to avert disaster, disaster must come if the truth of their father god is to be brought to bear and their faith rewarded. This is an attitude very much in keeping with the tide of paternalism that has gripped our kind of countless centuries.  It is inflexible, and it is unrealistic.  Now you might wonder, if I had seen the future with such clarity, then why wasn’t it changed?  Thing is, for me, for whatever reason, most of my insights into the future have all been on a short-cycle of seeing.  Most of my dreams have had to do with events about a month ahead. I don’t think that the purpose of the dream was to even offer an opportunity to change anything, not at least at the time that they were seen by me. However, the further one goes into the future, the greater the possibility there is to change the outcome of events.  When the schedule shifts from weeks to centuries, which is the scales that the Hopi have, we have been afforded much more time to consider where we are and make an effort to make change collectively.

Amongst other tribes here on the North American continent, there is the mention of what is often called the Cleansing Time or Day of Cleansing. This is not a day but a period of time, and all of the tribes say that this is where we are right now.  Rolling Thunder, a noted medicine man had a series of visions about what the content of this Cleansing would be.  He saw how many volcanic eruptions would happen during this time.  He saw the rise of super-storms.  He taught that regardless of what you might think about matter being “out there” in a materialistic way and unhitched from each of us, that in truth, we are all connected to Gaia, to Mother Earth.  Because we are, our actions, even our thoughts, he contended, was all part of the cumulative effect that the earth as a dynamic system, feels. I know that might seem “out there” but the tribes of this land have some interesting things to show us about how we and the earth are connected and that the materialistic view of the universe is a model that is incomplete and left wanting when their knowledge base comes into the picture. I will give you an example….

Not long ago, the Hopi elders began to realize that they were being shown that it was time for them to move where they lived.  In the area of the desert where they used to live, normally there is not enough rainfall to support a subsistence lifestyle.  However, despite what happens just outside of their community, they have been able to grow corn and keep close to the earth.  When the Hopi moved their community, they took the sand from the bed of the dry river bed that would fill up with water when the rains would come.  They took this sand and placed it in a dry river bed that had not seen rain in decades.  In fact, if you had taken a survey of the new location, anyone in their “right” minds would have urged them NOT to move to this new location!  After all, this new location had been parched, dry and devoid of rain.  But what the Hopi showed was that after they had taken the sand from the river bed from their old home and placed it in their new home, the rain that had fallen in their old home began to fall in their new one.  We would call this a miracle, but the Hopi see it as how they and the earth are part of a larger dynamic system where need is met by the intelligence that exists within the earth.  This is something that cannot be understood using traditional models, hence we slather it with the explanation that it is a miracle or the will of God.  But it is more than this. The Hopi know that when we live in balance and harmony with the system of the earth, that it will allow for changes that we make.  It is a system that is flexible enough to allow for this.

The Hopi also have a prophecy about what will take place in our era.  It is the subject of one of the few written or drawn depictions of the prophecies surrounding our entrance into the 5th World. The picture that the elders drew on stone show two lines, lines that show the life-path of human beings on the planet.  One path is jagged and another lifts upward in a straight line.  The Hopi foresaw that there would be a time when there would be a dividing of the Way.  One path would be dangerous and filled with chaos while another would be more steady and upward to a new kind of life.  This is as specific as the prophecy gets, but is perhaps all that we really need to know as a lesson to take from these people who have kept close to Mother Earth.

I think we are in this time of divergence now.  I think that there is time to change what road you are on.  This period I sense is not a given day or moment in time, but is a time period.  Instead of following the more rigid sense contained within Western perspectives about end times, we are like children who are given ample opportunities to learn and develop.  Each choice has its ramifications.  Make enough mistakes or missteps, and it gets harder and harder for you to get back into a more sustainable or peaceful way of being.  The picture of this rock is below.  You will see that the upper line terminates into a wavy path while the lower path, the path the Hopi seek to keep, is rooted to the earth.  They warn that there will come a time when people will be drawn from the earth, but in order to stay with the earth during its changes is critical for remaining in the progression of the worlds here.

Hopirock

The elders are clear that the depiction, as simple and straightforward as it is, is about a choice we each will have to make.  And what will that mean?  What are the ramifications of those choices?  What do the result of those choices look like?  For the Hopi, the answer is simple.  No matter what, they seek to remain with the Earth and to serve balance so that they and others will have the opportunity to continue in the spiral of our evolution as a species. Already, we are told, our use of fossil fuels are warming our atmosphere.  This, if it is correct, will have long-term effects, which will include severe weather, and the shifting of verdant regions into dry lands and dry lands, possibly, into more wet regions. But for the Hopi, it is more than just carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.  It is about a prevailing attitude in our own inner atmospheres that has helped to bring this through our collective efforts in driving automobiles, heating our homes, and building civilization.  And for everything that means, it means an impact of some kind.  We each have had a choice of what that impact would mean.  It might seem like we have no choice about where our lumber comes from, or if we use lumber from rainforests, or palm oil that we know is fueling a deforestation in parts of Indonesia, wiping away rainforest and homes for a wide range of creatures.  We know that we can choose to source our energy from wind and solar and hydro.  We can do more of this and lower our impact and that when there are enough of us who choose differently, these choices have an affect on our biosphere here.

We are getting closer to the entry into the 5th world.  It may be that all that we have done so far will be the “event” that will make it difficult for humanity to remain in the numbers here that we have thus far achieved.  But such an achievement, without keeping the balance of life in mind and action, our part can make it difficult for our story to continue here in the way it has thus far.  The thing is, we are smart enough to find ways to no longer create any more impacts on our earth and cease causing harm.  Awareness in the last few decades has grown and I remain hopeful.

I write about this because in my own experience I have had things that have tied directly into this Day of Cleansing.  That we are here at this time is fortuitous.  If we are to change, it will be because of a shift in awareness and also in action.  The world of commerce as it has stood is changing, and it needs to change much more.  The people who stood at its pinnacle were themselves hardly what I would call aware or awake individuals, but governed by their own fear and greed.  But they got in early and rose to the top with so much money and thus power and influence, that they continue to shape our world in important ways, and many do so behind the scenes in a way that is not good for our collective health, just their own limited self-interest.  We share the same earth and none of us owns it, for it is a gift.  It is not a realm to pillage, but a gift to be honored, preserved, and kept clean.  We need to put our creativity and our intelligence to the task.  We can come up with technologies that work WITH the nature of nature, not against it.  Using nature as the template, we can learn a lot from how this system had evolved. If we mimicked that nature more in our technology, we would be doing just what the Hopi have been calling for us to do, which is keeping close to the heart of the earth.

So here we are; witness the cleansing and what it means for you.  For me, it has meant a removal of the layers of dross that has been shoved down within my consciousness.  All of have this in abundance.  Most are not aware of it, but as I have said earlier, finding a way of raising awareness is a key component to becoming and evolving.  Instead of pulling away from the new, ask yourself what this change might mean, and how you can honor and support what is in your own highest.  If we all do this, we naturally support the highest for others.  I know that this might sound simplistic, but you will find that the more we work in higher dimensions of awareness and being, we naturally work in a realm of greater inclusivity, the place where life continues to be woven but in a broader scope.  It is in this larger scope that we are headed.  Let’s make that scope one that is marked by harmony, not marred by ignorance and greed.
