Many years ago I considered signing up for the Rose Cross or Rosicrucian literature and school of thought. What kept me from following through was this inner voice that had admonished me for years not to “join any religion or school of thought.” Once I awakened, I understood the purpose for me in my life for why this needed to be so, afterwhich the inner voice explained once I got a decade in that this would no longer be necessary. I wasn’t going to throw myself into the dogma or belief of any system at that point. As a result, I was able to begin researching other traditions for clues about illumination and /or enlightenment.
As an outgrowth of this, this video was sent to me and I think you might find it interesting. It is only a primer, but it helps to show how there is a universal phenomenon that has been seen in all the religions and schools of thought which boils down to a non-religious knowledge about body and soul (and all both contains) that I think could be understood in a more plain and objective way while realizing that it leads to themost vivid and deep levels of feeling. Waking The Infinite 
I can see why learning this school’s teachings would be attractive to spiritual seekers. Fascinating stuff. But just hearing that you could use what they teach to manipulate people would put me off.
It’s like anything else in life. Is it in service to others or does it only serve self? I see words used to manipulate the masses daily and to me, there is no difference in how it impacts us energetically and karmically.
That said, my feeling is humans need to hurry up and grow up, start using their innate abilities (responsibly) because they will, I think, help to finally seal the deal that we are more than we appear and that the universe is more than it appears (to the 5 senses).
When I see how these senses erases the belief that we are seperate and alone, that in its self helps to erase the neurosis that often grips humanity.

“I know, I know…I go off a little on these things.” And we wouldn’t have it any other way! Even though what peaks my curiosity may be a little different, your curiosity always broadens my horizons.
BTW, my most recent healing session had me connect with an aspect of myself from a past life who still hadn’t fully crossed over. There was a significant part of his/my spirit that was stuck and still very attached to the land where his people lived (in Hawaii). He was a ghost! I helped him release attachment to the land and fully cross over where his family was waiting for him. I did it by having a conversation with him and inviting him back into my heart, which acted as a conduit to spirit. This not only released him but also the land. I never know what’s going to come up, and his was a first for both me and the gal I was working with!
What! I had a VERY similar experience when I went to Maui a few years ago. I was on Oahu and just kept being pulled to Maui. You’d think this self would have been a little happier living on Maui…but it goes to show…I was able to help him to heal by letting him get to the right place to heal. He was so jammed up but I was able to model the feeling and that was just enough for him to let go of all that junk! On his end he thought of the experience as an ancestor or Kahuna coming along. How cool you had a similar experience in that island chain. My involvement in water goes way back.
