The One has no limits. It is neither form, nor not-form. It is indivisible. Everything that exists, exists in it. It seeks only Itself. It is eternal and the giver of eternity. It is pure Light. It is the Blessed One that never changes.
The Apocryphon of John
All things manifest are filled with God. All things that are invisible are filled with God. All things flow from God, yet [S]He does not change.
The Isha Upanishad
Namaste – Can you please point to the source of the Apocryphon of John quote. It only comes up in a search with two sources, your blog, and a book by Richard Hooper. It however does not actually appear in The Apocryphon of John. Thank you
Actually, it really is there. You may have a translation that is not providing the exact wording, and this may be where you are getting snagged. This is certainly a problem sometimes because it can do two things: utterly change the MEANING of a passage or provide the meaning but not the exact wording (and this is a problem with different reasons for different people). The quote to which you refer to is there, but you have to take in the meaning and not let the words trip you up. Read for comprehension/meaning instead of EXACT wording. Hint: it happens very early in the book. Look for “Monad” and see what you find. You are most welcome.
