Days are spent working on this book, digging first into its introduction, itself a small job….then to the beginning and to the structure. With the work on the book moving along, its so easy to add material at this stage with great ease. So naturally it leads me to ponder…..what do you ponder? What are YOUR questions?
What are your questions and ponderings about awakening?
Is there anything that does not make sense to you, or that you wonder about?
If there was something you most wanted to see in print about this subject, what would it be?
If you could make it make as much sense as possible to someone who does not know or understand the eastern cultires? that would help the more gnorant of this western folk like me. And I *think* you mentioned not needing sex to do it? (You or someone….) if it can be awakened without it, then I need tht information,. thanks
I agree with you; what is missing is more western perspectives. As for sexuality and awakening, sex is not required for this! Having said that, awakening tends to, as I have said, “turn on all the lights” so to speak, so that things work in a higher gear. Seems transformation includes all aspects of the self! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and to comment, that was so thoughtful….and helpful!
I think it’s important to note not everyone functions in a higher gear sexually…It may rev up desire but the root of desire can also be very much our shadow. Some people physically are not as functional sexually with Kundalini. Many of my clients experience a wide range of limitations sexually as a result of Kundalini either physically, emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, etc. I sense it may be important not to idealize it as taking us to a higher level rather presenting us with opportunity individually to do our inner work as an energetic catalyst to take our relationship with Self to a higher frequency of Love.
Very good clarification, and thank you! With awakening being as broad as it is, being able to consider all aspects of the experience in a holistic way seems really important. Sitting here working on the first chapter re-write of the book, I pondered just how broad and multidimensional the experience is and find others here mentioning the same thing. 🙂
At the risk of sounding like everyone else, it seems to be different for everyone, this whole kundalini experience. You can read on my experiences and thoughts if you wish. I try not to incorporate too much Eastern terminology or perspectives – just taking it for what it is to me. thehiddendoorwaywithin.wordpress.com

Now there you are; a western voice!
My take has been we are all experiencing the same thing but how we got here is different and so how that force in us is experienced might be moved or felt differently….so many channels for energy to flow…root channel, third eye, heart. crown, solar plexus…..rational and nonrational….so many ways…so many facets, no?
I appreciate your willingness to stop and read and reply! Thank you!
Yes, I think you are right.
